About
Blacklake Golf Resort boasts 27 holes of championship golf that are divided into three nines called the Oaks, Canyons, and Lakes. The nines can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Oaks/Canyons Course is the toughest of the three. The front nine features narrow fairways that wind through mature coastal oaks. If you're not careful, you may find yourself in the woods on this challenging target-style layout. The back nine doesn't get any easier with a layout that tumbles across rolling terrain. With the resort's location on the Nipomo Mesa along California's Central Coast, the elevated tee boxes on the Canyons nine allows for some stunning views. The location also invites refreshing sea breezes. In addition to the three golf courses, there is also a 275-yard driving range available with more than 30 grass and artificial teeing areas as well as three putting, chipping, and pitching greens.

We play the oaks lakes. The oaks 9 fairways are not so good but the green are good. The lakes is in good shape.

Great Day at Black Lake
Black Lake is a great course for average players like me. Everyone is easy going and the pace is relaxing.

Course
Went early in the morning. Everything was still wet from the fog but still had fun except for my wet shoes and 7 three putt bogeys.

We had a great time and finished 18 holes in less than four hours. Steve greeted us in the pro shop with a friendly smile beneath his mask and was very helpful in getting us started. He’s a nice guy and a good guy to start around with. The greens were in good shape and ran medium fast. Fairways were in the best condition I have seen them in several years.
