Desert Falls Country Club

The conditions of the golf course was very poor, I understand that the fees are low to bring people in. However, the grass was very dried out and the pond was emptied. I’m assuming for maintenance. I’m sure if you cough in season it’s better.!

Course was rough. Greens punched 7 days earlier so you expect slower conditions. Greens are awful. Many are infested with crabgrass. Weeds. Haven’t played here in 2 years so I wasn’t aware of the neglect. The course is known for having hundreds of palm trees. Many are dead, dying.

Sad, it’s a great design.

Course conditions do not reflect the description and or images of the course. Unkept greens, fairways, and rough. Would not play this course again even if it was free. Overall course conditions and quality way below par.

I have played golf in the Palm Springs area for over 20 years. These were the worst greens I have played in that area. I have played this course 5-6 times and never seen it like this before. I know the summer has an affect on course conditions but they were really bumpy and inconsistent. Weeds and other grasses clearly growing on a majority of them. Would not play here again unless this gets fixed. Too many other great options for a similar price.

I like this course. Yes it can be darn windy... But usually it's in good shape and I like the layout.

For this visit they had a pretty big weed issue on their greens. Some sort of broad leaf and maybe 2 other types of weed. They were verticutting it while we played. Pretty touhh to putt on. Wish we would have known ahead of time... We wouldn't have played it.

No complaints from me for summer golf.

Greens slow and bumpy with weed infection. Grassless spots all over the course. Dirt track.

Enjoyed the round so much I came back the next day and played again. Great course layout, with landing zones that have to be adhered to on numerous dog legs, lots of up and down and trap locations. Acceptable conditions especially for the summer season. Highly recommend playing this course!

Never again! The course was average for the Palm Springs area but Desert Falls charges $25 for a rider at a time the course was 10% capacity and they let single "golfers" ride alone The are too many courses of equal or better quality within a few miles drive that don't charge for letting a non-golfing spouse, partner or child ride along as a courtesy. The additional fee increases the greens fee above other courses of equal difficulty and condition.

Course not it the best condition. Greens slow and bunkers rough. Staff super friendly and great course layout though needed Garmin on some of the holes to have an idea where to go. Enjoyed the round and great value for money.
