River Falls Golf Plantation in Duncan is a Gary Player Signature Course. Its location makes it convenient for meeting up with people coming from Asheville, Columbia, Atlanta, or Charlotte. The golf course is also just minutes away from downtown Greenville. The narrow layout will test the accuracy and shot making abilities of even the best golfers. Rolling hills provide a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Water hazards come into play frequently and there are also strategically placed bunkers framing the greens and fairways. Player crafted a golf course that is both formidable and scenic. The abundance of mature trees helped him achieve this. He carefully wove River Falls Golf Plantation through the mature forests, allowing the trees to surround the holes, giving each a secluded and peaceful feel.

Poor conditions for such a nice course
The fairways are very hard and dry lots of dead spots. This course needs a lot more moisture on the fairways as well as most greens. It is hard seeing such a well designed and course turn into what it is right now. A more fair price for this course would be about 35$ in its condition and not 43$
Scenic and Amazing Course
This course is one of our favs. Great layout with beautiful scenic holes and difficult for all levels.. The greens were in great shape. Practice facility was great and a must play course if you are in the Spartanburg- Greenville area.. Can’t wait to play again!!!!

Great Holes
I love this golf course large fairways and greens but holes that you don't see on most golf courses and why when I come down to with friends I want to play this course.
Rip off
Booked a 1030 tee time for my friends and I. At 1 o clock the pro along with the groundskeepers were rushing us off the course to put tarps on the greens. It was a beautiful sunny, cool day. Will not be returning.
We apologize for any inconvenience, however we cannot allow for 5 hour rounds, especially in the instance of coordinating covering greens. For the record, you were spoken to on 10 green at 1:30pm and asked to skip a hole.

First time
Very nice but very tough course for a novice player. Very narrow fairways. condition was just ok but its winter in the south east so thats excused. Pro shop was well stocked I purchased a FJ shirt for a great price. Friendly staff. Will play here again after I get a little better.
