About
River Falls Golf Plantation in Duncan is a Gary Player Signature Course. Its location makes it convenient for meeting up with people coming from Asheville, Columbia, Atlanta, or Charlotte. The golf course is also just minutes away from downtown Greenville. The narrow layout will test the accuracy and shot making abilities of even the best golfers. Rolling hills provide a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Water hazards come into play frequently and there are also strategically placed bunkers framing the greens and fairways. Player crafted a golf course that is both formidable and scenic. The abundance of mature trees helped him achieve this. He carefully wove River Falls Golf Plantation through the mature forests, allowing the trees to surround the holes, giving each a secluded and peaceful feel.

Great course!
Beautiful course with trees and streams. Greens in great shape, friendly staff.
Great Holes
I love this golf course large fairways and greens but holes that you don't see on most golf courses and why when I come down to with friends I want to play this course.
Rip off
Booked a 1030 tee time for my friends and I. At 1 o clock the pro along with the groundskeepers were rushing us off the course to put tarps on the greens. It was a beautiful sunny, cool day. Will not be returning.

First time
Very nice but very tough course for a novice player. Very narrow fairways. condition was just ok but its winter in the south east so thats excused. Pro shop was well stocked I purchased a FJ shirt for a great price. Friendly staff. Will play here again after I get a little better.

Great course. Greens outstanding. Fun to play.
Best course for the money I have found in the upstate since moving here. You will use every club in your bag. Great greens, nice fairways. Tee boxes so so.
Only wish they had a cart girl and wider selection of food for the turn.

Great course on a great day
I always enjoy playing River Falls. A few times pace of play has been slow. However the course is in very good condition & couldn’t ask for more consistent greens on the fast side. Weather got up to 71 degrees so was perfect. RF just got all brand new golf carts.

Conditions of course
Some of the pin placements were horrendous not even fair and some of the greens were very very spotty with big patches of sod and lots of bad places on the fairways

Greens were average. Golf cart was dirty and parking brakes did not work
