River Falls Plantation

I have played RF many times. I highly recommend this course. One of my favorites. 2 or 3 greens in rough shape but all in all a great course.

This course was in great shape. From tee to green. The rough is tough. Holes are challenging. Course is fair for all skill levels.i will definitely be back.

One of my favorite courses in the area. Great staff, challenging layout. Always impressed at how well maintained the course is. Greens were beautiful this weekend. Very true and slightly fast despite recent rains. Only two or three heavily shaded greens have bare spots, but not in play with the pin placement.

This is an excellent course. I've played it many times and will continue to play there. It's not for the beginner. I have taken friends in the past who have stated they would not play it again due to it being too difficult. If you are a low to mid handicap golfer, you will love this course. Place your shots for your approach yardage and you should be fine.

This is a very challenging course. Course was in great condition. Paid only $18 for a premiere course. Several blind shots make for tough holes when you are unfamiliar with the course.

For the most part I really like the layout and condition of the course. There are several holes that just don't make sense. I'm sure terrain had something to do with it, but I still wish the designer had come up with a better solution. There are also several greens that are chronically terrible. This course offers some beautiful sight lines, and some really challenging holes

If you like 5 1/2 hour rounds you are all set. Booked back 9 and front 9 all day! If this continues it will eventually cost them players. Course is in early spring conditions another month and it will be good to go. Must get tee times in order!

The day we played was cart path only, which makes you climb a lot of hills. Most of the tee boxes were in terrible shape. A couple of greens had disease, but overall were in good shape. There are some really fun holes. #13 is gorgeous. But #16 is just a goofy hole with a steep downhill blind second shot.

Overall it was well worth the "hot deal" price.

Our twosome enjoyed a smooth, unhurried four hour round. The fairway grass is still dormant but fairways had been groomed and were very playable. When the grass breaks dormancy the course condition will be five star. The greens were Outstanding - rolled beautifully. Friendly staff in the pro shop as was the starter, who got us off early. Best visit to River Falls ever.

Had some issues getting to course on time, pro was very accommodating to get us in well past our scheduled time. Two first time friends enjoyed the course immensely. Course is very challenging yet playable. Suggest not playing it for the first time without obtaining local knowledge.

I've recently started back playing golf this past year in about ten years. My dad and I have played just about every course the upstate and surrounding areas have to offer. I will say this was one of the more memorable courses we have played. It has a lot more hills and water than most in this area. It isn't that difficult of a course, but still enough to challenge and avid golfer. We will definitely be back to play this course again soon.

Great course, very challenging. Would recommend to anyone.

Booked tee time on line for 1:40 pm. got there at 12:20pm, paid and handed ticket to starter at 12:25pm. Relayed msg from pro shop that I would be playing with Mitch. then the confusion started. No one on tee box for 10 minutes and no Mitch. Then a foursome out of nowhere went to first tee and teed off. I asked when and who I would be playing with and starter said he wasn';t sure and went inside. Came out and said Mitch. Then another foursome went to tee first tee box and teed off. by now it was 1:10pm. I asked again about my starting time and starter asked who are you? I explained I was paired with some Mitch by pro shop. He seemed confused and went in to talk with someone. a few minutes later he came back out and said I would be with Mitch but wasn't sure if it was a twosome or threesome. After more confusion two guys showed up, one was Mitch. They said a third person was coming . After a few more minutes the third person showed up and we eventually got to the first tee behind a third foursome. Teed off at about 1:25pm. Cart path only and a 5hour plus round later, we finished just before dark. Very unprofessional starters who seemed to be playing favoritism. I have played here before quite a few times and it seems to be getting worse, both the course and the service personnel.
