About
River Falls Golf Plantation in Duncan is a Gary Player Signature Course. Its location makes it convenient for meeting up with people coming from Asheville, Columbia, Atlanta, or Charlotte. The golf course is also just minutes away from downtown Greenville. The narrow layout will test the accuracy and shot making abilities of even the best golfers. Rolling hills provide a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Water hazards come into play frequently and there are also strategically placed bunkers framing the greens and fairways. Player crafted a golf course that is both formidable and scenic. The abundance of mature trees helped him achieve this. He carefully wove River Falls Golf Plantation through the mature forests, allowing the trees to surround the holes, giving each a secluded and peaceful feel.

Phenomenal!
Stopped by for an afternoon round on my way back home to the Myrtle Beach area. Layout was fantastic!! Lots of great holes on this course! Will definitely be back!! Beware - greens are extremely FAST!!!
Friday Golf Date
Fantastic experience! Considering it was January 20th, the conditions were outstanding! The greens are fast and true. Well worth the money and as fantastic Lay-out! We will definitely be back!
Tough course that’s in great shape.
Considering a week ago at this time we were in the 20’s for a high temp the course and greens are in great shape. Fast and smooth so you can still score if you can hit the shots and stay out of trouble.

Course was in poor condition. No sand in traps and tees in poor shape

Need To Think About Your Shots
The staff was courteous and accommodating. The course was in very playable conditions, only a few areas of casual water with nearby relief. Greens rolled true and were painted and rough was recently mowed. There is much challenge from the tees and fairways with elevation and slope. I play 5300-5500 yards with an 18 handicap. This course is exceptional during spring and summer. I've played River Falls at least four times in different seasons.

Fun course, friendly staff and locals
I booked as a single, but while on the putting green, one of the locals invited me to play in their game for a $5 buy in. Fun group, fun format, good time.

The staff were great. We really enjoyed our time and you could tell they really enjoyed the younger crowd playing the course. I still think this is one of the best courses in the upstate if you enjoy variety in elevation play.

Fantastic Greens
Course is in great shape. Fairways are good. Tight lies and greens were excellent. Best greens I have played in this area so far. Healthy - fast - true.

Beautiful Layout
We had a great time playing this course. That's not the same as saying we played great on this course. You need to be on the short grass on this one. And it doesn't hurt to be pretty long. Fairways were in good shape, the rough kicked my butt and the greens were fast and true. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely play here again.
