Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club - Ghost Creek Course

Ghost Creek is one of best layouts in the Portland metro area and I throughly enjoyed a nicely paced 4 hour round, the course is in great condition. The greens were healthly, rolled a little slow due to a slight bit of residual sand and softness but rolled true. Excellent value, can't beat the GolfNow Hot Deal rate!

Great time, great price, but they didn't have the fact that they aerated the greens on Golfnow.

Disappointing overall in regards to the condition of the course. I had played Hawks Prairie woodlands the day before @42$ and the conditions were superior. I am not sure if Pumpkin is having a hard time with the weather this summer but the course looked bad!

I emailed the course and asked about rental clubs before booking a tee time. I was told the course provided the latest set of Nike Vapor clubs. Not so. Instead I received a beaten up set of very old, very used Nike Covert clubs. The set even included a 7 iron with a woman's flex graphite shaft while the rest of the irons were men's regular flex steel shafts. Fortunately I discovered it on the driving range and got it exchanged before playing the course. Very good course but don't appreciate being told one thing but receiving clubs that should have been destroyed long ago.

Way to expensive for an average course. Staff was not informative, there is no course layout on the score card, the greens were spungy showing hundreds of foot prints very difficult to putt & play was very slow.

For some reason it was cart path only. No hole guide on the card or hole mark on the tee box. On some holes you had to guess where you were hitting to. Good pace of play until we made the turn. They let a 2 some and 4 some off in front of our turn. It was 1 1/2 hr front and 2hr back. And this was without prior course knowledge. Greens were moderate speed.

I didn't think the course was worth the money.
For $95 I expected a motorized cart to be included.
Wolf Creek includes carts where I paid $100. Much better golf course and more spectacular. Played the Blue Course at Heron Lakes today for a fraction of the price and enjoyed the course more.

Shot an 83, 45/38 blew up the front got it together on back. True rolling greens some tough pin placements also. All an a great course.

I enjoyed my round of golf. The course is pricey, but got a good price on Golf Now. The only downside was the greens. They were slow and and bouncy. The fairways and rough were excellent. A great course for your bucket list. I will play there again.

Classic nw.layout. Great from any tee box, fit for any skill level. Greens almost back from aeration.

Played Pumpkin Ridge for the first time, and it lived up to the hype! Yes, the greens are still bumpy and slow (but they have to punch them at some point right?). The overall experience was great! Very fun/challenging layout makes this course a must play if you haven't yet done so. Good elevation changes and layout.

After booking & driving 150 miles to play 36 holes we arrived and headed to first tee. The greens had just been punched but we were never informed.

This was my first visit to Pumpkin Ridge and my expectations were high. Booked a round for me and two of my friends through Golf Now. The rate was great as I booked on line only to find out it was a walking rate. Now the green fees went up by $15 per person but no problem we were all excited to play. The facilities were great staff was friendly so off we go to the first tee and of course what do we find, the greens were aerated. I'm sure I misspelled that but you know what Im referring to. Now the rate is not so good, we payed the regular (premium) rate for not so premium conditions. The layout on each hole kept you interested, fairways are modest but you are penalized if you make the rough. Green shots must be accurate or you'll find a bunker, some greens are small. Overall I give this course a good rating, we will return when greens grow in. staff should alert players to conditions and charge less in those conditions.

For the first time playing the course I was pretty excited, up until I saw the greens. The greens were recently aerated so putting was bit of a challenge. It would have been nice to expect it since I checked the website and called to confirm in advance. Nobody mentioned it. Still overall, we had a great time. Enjoyed the scenery. Watch out for hidden creeks running through the fairway, and brush up on your sand shots for #16....!

If you are about to play this course wait. The course is in great condition, however the greens are horrible. It is nothing they have control over as all greens need to be punched. Charging full price for that then not informing players that there punched was a joke. So good course in the summer im sure and great staff.

Course is in good shape, green are in great shape but the pace of play is too slow, average wait 5-10 minutes per tee... Took almost 3 hours to get thru 1st 9 holes

The condition of the course was nothing short of phenomenal. Greens were outstanding. The grass in the rough was long making it difficult to find your ball if you hit out of the fairway, but if you could find the ball, it was not impossible to get back in the fairway and avoid a disastrous score.

As an average golfer I've always wanted to play Pumpkin Ridge. I was a little disappointed. Although it was the middle of Feb. I still expected the course to drain better than it was. Very soggy. I'm sure summer play is much nicer. Overall a great course.

Even though the weather was pretty nasty, the course was in excellent condition with quick greens that rolled true.

Besides a bit of bad weather for a few holes, the play at GC was great. Got a bit sloppy in the fairway/rough after the rain it seemed to dry out pretty well. The grounds were in great condition and green putt true even when wet. I will play this course again at some point. Definitely worth the trip out there at least once.
