About
LakeRidge Golf Course is a Robert Trent Jones course that has consistently been voted the "Best of Reno" ever since it first opened in 1969. Though the course sits less than five miles from downtown, the surrounding mountains provide a tucked-away feel. There are some stunning views from the elevated tees but don't get too distracted, this challenging course demands your attention. Mature trees tower over the fairways but they are thankfully wide enough to offer a little room for error. Water comes into play frequently and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along the undulating greens. Accuracy is essential at LakeRidge Golf Course. The signature hole is the par-3 15th. This tee sits atop a rocky ridge that is perched 140 feet above Lake Stanley. You'll be playing downhill to an island green on this challenging but scenic hole.

Great time
Honestly for the price this course was great! Hole 15 is everything that you would hope it would be. I wish there was not as many critters running around and laying droppings on the greens, but it did not take away from the experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Grass is in perfect shape
The course was in great shape. Really loved it. The greens were too fast for their contours, meaning the ball would not stop on an uphill putt and often times end up farther away than when you started - ridiculous, and why I gave a 4 star rather than 5 star rating.
Late day
The problem with twilight here is there is always a slow group....Marshall talked to us twice but evidently not to the two groups ahead of us.....lots of political ads around the course to keep what's left of the range....
Course was in feat shape. Very challenging. Loved the signature 15th hole. Watch out for the marmot. They rule the place.

Slow
Slow... Slow.... Slow
Started late cause the group in front started late.. Backed up on 15-18 by 3 Groups... No Marshall.. Horrible.. Only my second time here in 4 years.. Won’t come back
Great shape
The course is in great condition. The greens a fast and challenging. Really impressive for early season. Love the 15th, although I put it in the water.
Always decent experience, finally hit 15th green
Classic Reno course, nice variety of challenges. Greens are in decent shape, fairways need some work, overall fun design.
Pace of play is usually ok, very slow today with no rangers in site to speed up a group of beginner golfers 2 groups ahead of us.
However, The only significant down side is a greeter at first tee who is always unhappy and moody. Usually these guys are nice and welcoming, he is so rude that makes me think twice picking up this course if I have a choice.
