About
LakeRidge Golf Course is a Robert Trent Jones course that has consistently been voted the "Best of Reno" ever since it first opened in 1969. Though the course sits less than five miles from downtown, the surrounding mountains provide a tucked-away feel. There are some stunning views from the elevated tees but don't get too distracted, this challenging course demands your attention. Mature trees tower over the fairways but they are thankfully wide enough to offer a little room for error. Water comes into play frequently and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along the undulating greens. Accuracy is essential at LakeRidge Golf Course. The signature hole is the par-3 15th. This tee sits atop a rocky ridge that is perched 140 feet above Lake Stanley. You'll be playing downhill to an island green on this challenging but scenic hole.

Always fun
I didn't play well...weather was windy and on and off rain all day. Pace of play was good. Course was in good shape. Greens a little slower then last time I played here, might have been due to the rain. Look forward to a return visit and hitting the 15th green next time!
The course was excellent. Literally the only thing wrong is some of the Jones tee boxes were a little uneven. Other than that, amazing golf course
Fun, challenging course
This course was in excellent condition. Greens are tricky and you need to choose carefully where to place your ball on the fairway. Lots of curves and undulations on each hole. Nice bar and cafe.
Excellent experience
My wife and I visiting Reno first time playing LakeRidge. Staff and starter very friendly and helpful. The starter had us tee off as a twosome and the pace of play was awesome. Course conditions are great. Beautiful course to play and we will be back again. Hole number 15 was unbelievable with the view and scenery. My wife and I both birdied it, so it will be a great memory for us both. This course is a must play. Thank you for such a great experience.
Great Day, fun course!
The fairways and greens were in outstanding conditions. If I had one thing negative to say it would be the Tee boxes. They were all convexed. Im not sure if they do that on purpose for water run off? But teeing off, the ball was either above your feet or below. Hard to find a level Tee box all day. Other than that, the course was well kept, the carts have bluetooth speakers and the greens were in great shape! No driving range, but a net to warm up in to for free.
Really nice & affordable
This was our first time at this course and it was nice to have an option to golf during the winter at this lovely, affordable course. Staff was very nice!

Enjoyed playing this course. Look forward to playing it again. I couldn't putt all day, greens were fast and had some break to them. Course is a great driving course. I got paired with three great guys and all good players. Course was a little backed up, guys told me the casino's send a lot of players to this course. Tee boxes could use some TLC. Greens were in good shape for early February. Great value via GolfNow.

Amazing Course! Course conditions were wet from rain but greens still were moving very fast. Beautiful views, will definitely be playing here more often.
No water
The course was fun and challenging. We played on a hot summer day and were told there is no water on the course. When we went to the bar to get ice for the small coolers attached to the cart, we were told we had to buy a drink to get ice. To pay $140 to play and then get dehydrated is not acceptable. More minor issues- driving range is just a few mats in a net enclosure; no ball washers on course. Because of all of this, I won’t be coming back
