About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Super Fun Course
I only played the back 9, they had a great weekend special which included a filling breakfast. Great value, great pace, Kevin at the front desk was super friendly and professional. Will definitely be returning.
Summer Work
We understand -- summer is the time AZ courses need to get work done in preparation for the high season when they make the bulk of their revenues. Right now the conditions here are not great - may tee boxes in process, greens with bad patches, some fairways dry and sparse and some soggy areas, etc. Fees are OK, fast play in the afternoon on a hot day.

Finally Broke Par Here!
Had a great game yesterday and finally broke par with a 59! Course is looking really good for summer conditions, and a lot better than some others in the area right now. Greens were rolling consistently, and it is great to see the new tee boxes being built out, too. Hole 18 is going to be a monster from that new back tee when it opens. Can't wait to try it out! Always a fun day at Springfield!
A mess
Course is terrible right now. They are rebuilding tee boxes and repairing greens. Smelly muck. Wet.
A beautiful little course six months ago.
Imagine being upset that a course is actually improving tee boxes and investing money back into a property.
Rough Greens
Lots of the greens are in bad shape. Several times I was putting on or over sand. They should warn people about the greens before they book. Many places were hard to tell if you were in rough or fairway. Overpriced for the current conditions.

Slow Pace today and every time I play here...
The course needs work and the pace of play is terrible.
Four to four and a half hours for a short course like this is unacceptable. They do not send rangers out to move groups along so plan on waiting if you play here. I talked to a guy in the pro shop after and he was not very helpful at all. I'll go to Bear Creek Cub course from now on when I need to sharpen up my short game instead of Springfield.
They could use some of the excess water in the ponds to water everything if you asked me too. Some trees need to be trimmed or dead ones removed from the course. The bar/restaurant is excellent for after golf though.

A Rough Patch
Perhaps my expectations are off - Springfield has been in fantastic shape for a few years now. Not this time. Quite a few greens are in really tough shape. I don't know what's happening here.
