About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Great day of golf
Course was in great shape. Greens were a bit slow, but as soon as they mow them they will be nice. Pace on the front was a bit slow, but picked up on the back side.
Great executive course
A great executive course. The staff was friendly and well organized, and we teed off right on time. The carts were in good condition, and both the fairways and greens were very well maintained. The course is challenging with sand bunkers and water features throughout but still very playable.
The course was busy, and the pace of play was average - not exceptionally fast, but not overly slow.
There was no drink cart on the course, so be sure to bring water bottles or other drinks. The on-course restrooms and water fountains were all working and in good condition.
I would definitely come back again.
Fantastic round!
Tee'd off at 702am. We were the first ones out and flew through it in two hours! We were grouped with a walker but after hole one we politely asked him if he'd be okay with letting us play tbrough. He had no issue with it at all. I love this course and it is in amazing shape right now. Greens were slower (which I like) but they were difficult to judge speed on because of it. I love Sunbird!
It appears that I was charged more than the reservation amount.
I understand that when booking through GolfNow online, the total price—including taxes—is supposed to be finalized at the time of reservation.

It appears that an additional amount of approximately $20 was charged.
I was under the impression that when booking through GolfNow, the price typically includes taxes—is that not the case?
Fun morning at Sun Bird
Great rate. Course is in very good condition. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Played with a fun couple. I will be back.
No carts/hairy greens/bare fairways
The title really says it all. Got to courses 40 minutes prior to our 1238 tee time and didn’t get off until 120 due to no available carts. Additionally there was an outing right behind our tee time and it was a good thing I exerted some pressure on the pro shop staff or we would have been stuck in the middle of that group (the starter still let two groups ahead until I complained) and would never had finished our round. Started playing here last year and it was a good value, but this year the conditions have really declined. One more point to knows; bring your own alcohol drinks as none are sold on the course.
Thought the course was very fair. It was in good shape, and they are working to make it even better. Greens were a little slower than other course we have played, but the green were in great shape and rolled true. We enjoyed the course. We were not sure we would like it being a par 66, but we enjoyed the day.
Nice course for the money
Like the course. Wish they allowed beer on the course, but I can deal with it.
Snowbirds back at ot
Although a very short course, we enjoyed the round very much. Nice thick and green fareways and greens. It did take a while to get used to the super slow greens. Three of us played 18 holes in 2 hours 45 minutes with only a few waits. Good course to get our golf year started.
Pace slow, greens slow
Front nine was terribly slow. On more than one tee box, there were 3 groups waiting. Apparently, there was a twosome that was holding everyone up? If so, they should have been taken off the course. Greens are quite long and very slow.
