About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Great Value
Very nice course in very good condition. I like the way it meanders among homes. Clean carts and very friendly and helpful staff. Has a country club feeling.
Fun Course
Enjoy playing Sunbird. Staff is great and all players are friendly. Just wish more people would fix their pitch marks on the greens. I fixed at least 5 on every hole.
Good value using Golf Now
Shorter course but has its challenges. Good value using Gf Now.
Always a great time at Sunbird
Found a hot deal tee time for Friday morning and decided to get a practice round in before a scramble tournament later in the afternoon.
Didn't think we'd finish but despite how busy it was, the pace was great. Greens were furry and slow which I absolutely loved but many golfers hate that. I love this course! It was super wet and muddy at certain spots so beware, but all that means is they're working hard at keeping it beautiful.

Sunbird was the best course I’ve scheduled on this site. I’d recommend to anybody. It was in great condition and very playable for a senior golfer, like myself.
Value
We got an 8:30 tee time for like maybe 40 a person. The guy at the gate was super nice to me. Explained where I needed to go after asking me if I had played here before. My buddy got the cart and we rolled up to hole #1 they paired us up with two other gentleman and we were off. You can’t just drive this course there are guarded greens, dog legs left and right. Some homes were really short, you have to know your irons and wedges. It was a little wet out there but we had a blast it sort of drizzled and rained a little. Greens were pretty slow. I saw some reviews that made me not want to play here but we had a good experience everyone was cool. I’m glad we played here nice track.

Economical but greens are bad
I took a chance on this resort course since I got the round “free” as a GolfPass member using some points. If your main concern is value this course might be worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The layout is decent as a par 66. My main beef was the greens. I’m not sure what type of grass they use but I’ve never seen it before. Very rough, slow and not true rolling.
Meh
Greens haven't been cut in forever. Pace was slow so we stopped at the turn to grab a beer and were told we couldn't bring them out onto the course and we would have to quickly drink them in the restaurant.

Sunbird is a great little course to work on your short game. The course is a par 66 and is not super challenging for a longer hitting golfer.
I found the fairways were in great shape (when I found the fairways) and the roughs were generally forgiving and dry. There were sections of rough that were taller grass so they needed some extra attention to hit from. Overall, the teeboxes, fairways and rough were excellent. My hat is off to the ground crew.
The greens were overseeded and still growing in so they were fuzzy and slow in spots, but again they were very playable.
The staff and fellow golfers were amiable, and offered tips for a better experience. And the price was amazing.
I came the first time for the greenfees and will come back because of the great experience.
Fast pace course
Good course to practice your irons. Not very many long drives.

Course is great for a quick round, only wish the cafe was open earlier to accommodate early tee times....
