About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Needs TLC
I played early am on 9/3. In general, the course condition not up to it's typical standards. Several bunkers were either flooded or under repair. Multiple tee boxes were moved forward to water/repair those areas as well. Sections of several of the greens appeared bare and or diseased.
Hopefully managers get their course in order before the temps come down in October.
Love this course
Short fun course that is challenging enough. The course overall is in good condition but they are working on the Tee boxes so there’s a lot of maintenance going on. The team at the course are super friendly and knowledgeable.
Pace of play
Couse is having work done for improvements. Nice to see that. The pace of play was awful. Players stoping at the turn to sit down and eat. At one point there was two holes completely open and four grougs on one he.
New Favorite Course!
Had a buddy recommend Springfield for a quick and fun round, and it did not disappoint! Gina was really friendly in the shop and told me where everything was at. Course was in the best shape I've seen for a track on this side of town. Fairways were super nice and greens rolled true. You can see that they care about the place because they're rebuilding and expanding a bunch of tee boxes, but planned it out well enough to where you are still playing the normal distances and most tees. I can't wait to come back and give it a go again out here. Great excuse to leave work early!
Monsoons and repairs
Too many tee boxes under repair. Additionally the rains have created to many lakes/ponds in the fairways. The course was unplayable on certain holes.
Ms. Raymond, Thank you for your comments regarding your round. Yes, we received over 7/10ths of an inch of rain, so some areas were very wet. We did let everyone know, before going out that conditions were soggy.
As for the tee boxes, yes we are currently renovating a few of them, leveling and enlarging most, so they can handle more play.
We were a bit confused with the your disapproval of the tee box renovation, since your last review, on July 20th stated, that many tee boxes, did in fact need "work". The project has been scheduled for some time and we agreed with you that they needed to be leveled and enlarged.
We would have thought you would have been excited to see we took your ideas to heart!

Fun executive length course
Greens are recovering, but still slow, fairways are in good condition. Still a lot of standing water from recent rain. Some tee boxes are being reseeded so some tee locations have been moved forward.

Beautiful day on the golf course. Not to hot and not to crowded!
Summer seeding
Tee boxes need major work. Greens had just been plugged so understand the bumpiness. Water pooling in certain fairways, but expected conditions for Arizona summer golf. A great course for your short game. Staff is very accommodating!
