Springfield Golf Resort

We were paired up with anuther two, each of which had their own cart. I saw another foursome and each had their own cart also. Not personal but course loaners. The course gets allot of play and players do not rep[air divots. The green have a fungus so dont expect to see grass. There are alot of geese and standing water on the course.

The course was expensive for a par 61.

Best thing I can say is we went around quickly.

As executive courses go this is a decent option. Greens are firm and quicker than you might think. Solid practice range and putting green. Carts are nice and well equipped.. My only complaint is a lot of the par 3's are roughly the same distance so you hit the same club a lot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the grill is really good. I enjoyed my rounds there and we'll play there again I'm sure.

FYI enough par 4s to need a driver and from back tees, which I played, some challenging shots. Course conditions quite good.

First time playing here with my Dad from out of state. Can’t beat the prices and was really impressed with the condition of the course. Had a great time, would play again.

Love this course, just moved to Gilbert in January can’t get a better maintained course for this value. Thank you Springfield

First thing we noticed after not playing here in several months was the fantastic new carts, outfitted with GPS. Course was in pretty nice shape, staff very friendly. Our golf cart would slow to a crawl in supposedly unauthorized areas, even if there was no signage. It is a good feature when protecting a huge investment. However, it didn't seem to make sense when trying to drive just off fairways or in the areas mostly dirt. Interesting enough, we saw several people driving in those areas with no issues at all, but our cart would not. Also, it would be helpful to have a Ranger patrolling the course, especially this time of year when it's so busy. Otherwise, it was a good time.

My daughter and I often play Springfield Golf Resort. If you haven't played lately you're in for a treat, The new golf carts are top-of-the-line with GPS screens. The greens and fairways are well maintained. I'm not sure how they do it with 160 to 170 days without rain this winter. The staff is always accommodating and cheerful. They treat you like part of the family. With entertainment often in the evenings, the clubhouse restaurant has excellent food and service with generous portions of your favorites, I'm sure.

Was looking for a course close by to get some after work swings in at... This course is decent for that purpose. Excellent value with a Hot Deal. Pace of play is my only knock. I'm pretty sure we were at the tee box when the group in front of us was just teeing off on the final 6-7 holes.
