Springfield Golf Resort

Course played well, except greens. Could not find consistency of speed. Most of the greens were slow, then all of sudden you would get a fast green.

Springfield is absolutely the best executive course I have ever played! The course is challenging, as well as fun to play! It is always in great shape. BUT ... the most outstanding feature at Springfield is the management and staff. From the moment you enter the pro shop, through course play to turning your cart in, you are treated as a valued friend. If you have a special request, and they can accommodate it without infringing on other players, your request will be met. It is simply .... WOW!!!

All was good except the restrictions of cart path only. Course is ready to be 90 degree ridden. With many par 3’s this would only effect about 6 holes.

The course has rebounded well following the overseed. A little shaggy around the greens but that’s to be expected. Will be back for sure.

I really liked this course. The greens were a little slow but seeding was just done. You’ll have to hit the ball a little harder with your putter. I

Although just reseeded the course played good. The green speeds were inconsistent due to the reseeding. Yet greens were nice and challenging because of the multi-levels. For a shorter course the par 3’s are plenty challenging and this is an excellent opportunity to work on your short game 7 iron- wedges.

Course has been open about a week from overfeeding and is in pretty good shape. Numerous improvements have been made to the entire course and it shows and is appreciated. Staff is outstanding from the clubhouse to the food service people. I'll be back once the new grass is more established.

I played on a Sunday with my wife, son, and 13 yr old grandson. This was our 1st time playing this course. We did wait just a few minutes at each tee box but got to enjoy some conversation with family which was nice. The course was just beginning to come out of overseeding but was in good shape. The quesadila at the 61 Grill was amazing! Staff was very courteous and attentive. Driving range was in very good shape as well. We will definitely be back.
