Sunland Village Golf Course
About
Located in the east valley, the Sunland Village Golf Course is an 18-hole course with a traditional layout. The semi-rolling landscape of the course features subtle elevation changes and tall, mature trees sprinkled throughout. The medium-sized greens are slightly undulating and the fairways are tree-lined. There are also ponds on the course that come into play on many holes. A notable hole is the par-3 16th. It is a mere 86 yards, but it requires a precise shot past water to the green. The Sunland Village Golf Course facility has three different putting and chipping greens for golfers to use as well as a driving range.

Sunland Village of
Friendly staff. Well maintained golf course and facilities. We will play it again and take our golfing friends.
Fairways very good shape
The overall course was ok. Fairways were in great shape but the greens were. Way below average. The ball continued to bounce along the greens making the whole round very irritating. We played 5 courses this week and it is not one we will put on our try again list
Nice conditions
The course was in really nice shape. Fairways were lush, and greens rolled true.
Nice Executive Course
With Greenfield Lakes looking more like an episode of GoT after the dragons got ahold of it, Sunland Village is a very nice, close by alternative for those looking to play a shorter course in the east Valley. Lots of water scattered throughout the course, trees line many fairways making it imperative to keep it in the fairway on the "longer" holes.
Entire course is green, even in the dead of summer. Tee boxes in good shape, greens were true and well conditioned, bunkers needed a bit more sand to make them more playable. Staff was courteous and friendly even to someone who doesn't live in the Sunland Village complex, which is sometimes an issue at other courses.
Very nice course to practice your mid and short irons. Also has an all grass driving range and practice putting green. PoP was about 2.75 hours.
Tee time
Fun course we always enjoy playing here showed up a half hour early nobody on the T for 20 minutes. went 10 minutes past our tee time then they finally let us tee off. wasn't very happy
great deal
got a hot deal, under 20 with cart for 18 holes. Perfect day, pace was good
Great course conditions
Usually play another place nearby, but decided to try this one out because of the ratings. Course conditions were amazing for the price. I will definitely play again. Only down side was how close the houses were with no fence, but just makes you try and hit a straight shot every time.
A Bit Overrated!
Drove about 40 miles and chose this course because it had a 4.5 rating. Hard to understand why, as it does not have any outstanding features! We have played several courses of similar length and design with lower ratings which we would choose again over this one. We had to stop at the bathroom after nine, so, following etiquette and being courteous, we let a female foursome through. Then, some clown (another crass description would be appropriate) playing behind them drove up to the 10th tee and loudly and arrogantly accused us of cutting in! We realize the course has little control over such idiots and while it did not affect our overall rating, it did leave a sour taste.
Sunland
Fun course. Parr 4's are short but narrow. Pace of play at least on thar day was painfully slow. Play was better on the back 9
Lot's of fun for the money
First time I played this course and with all the traffic it has, they really have it in good shape.
Carts are newer and was fun to get around in.
Will go back.
Friendly Fun Executive Course
Nice Executive course fun layout with several holes involving water. Pace was 3 hours so not bad. Felt slower because front was finished in an hour back nine took 2. Very friendly staff and looks like a fun atmosphere at the sports bar there. All in all a very nice afternoon!,
great course
Everything about this course was outstanding. Only one thing was not. And that was, the smell on the course Was attrocious. Took my breath away At times.
Good
Course was in excellent condition. The odor from recent fertilizing was unpleasant. The couple that we were paired with didn't know Golf etiquette or the rules so that was a negative. Overall were pleased with the cost, condition of the course and the pace of play.
Nice course, excellent staff
Very nice course and in excellent shape.
Staff went out of there way to pair us up with somebody who knew the course!
slow front 9 but great pace on the back, great little short course
Great Course
Love the Shotgun start. The rate of play was really good. The rough was extremely challenging to find your golf ball, so needed to stay in the middle of the fareway. Love to play it again.
Good short course
The course is in very lush and green shape . The greens are slower because of overseeding but some are undulating and challenging. It is a good executive course should you wish to work on your short game, but leave the driver in the bag on most holes( even some of the par 4 holes) . The fairways are a bit narrow in places and there are a few water hazards so one needs to refer to hole diagrams to determine the exact locations since some are not visible from the tee box. The club house and adjoining bar/ restaurant offer NFL game day specials. Food was good and service was prompt and courteous .
