Four Peaks Course at Sunland Springs Village
About
Like many other golf courses in the Phoenix area, Sunland Springs Village is a desert style golf course. But unlike many other desert courses, this golf course has grass extending from the tees all the way to the greens. This executive course also features wide fairways with forgiving landing areas and large, undulating greens. There are water hazards and sand bunkers placed strategically throughout the course. The par-4 second hole is the signature hole, requiring a difficult shot over water. In addition to the golf course, Sunland Springs Village is also home to a golf school and practice facilities including a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

No changes needed
Great conditions..mundane layout but good variety for a "short course "
Slick but consistent greens put up the good fight
Sweet fairways
Tee to green conditions were excellent. Fairways well defined with winter rye dormant. Pace of play was amazing!! We played a two team scramble format just for something different from our usual stroke play format. With no groups in front of our foursome, we breezed through 9 holes in under an hour and a half. Excellent pro shop and outside services staff. We had a morning 9-hole tee time and an after noon 9-hole tee time. Pro shop offered us a reduced rate for our afternoon tee time as an expression of appreciation for returning to play again.
The course was backed up over an hour because of a frost warning. We paid for 18 holes , we could only pay 9. They wouldn’t help up out with a voucher because we prepaid. They would give us a round of drinks, nothing to appease us a little
Worth the time and $
Second time playing this course. Played 9 holes again but a different 9 from my last time out. Condition of fairways and greens excellent. Pace of play could be better but pace was tolerable for winter golf. I'll be back.
Nice Executive course
The course layout is simple with open fairways and free drops if you hit into the rocks but the difficulty of the greens makes up for it. The fairways are in excellent condition and the staff and members are super friendly.
Pretty good shape
Easy to find, easy check in, no sand in bottle, carts clean though but getting used, water buckets for our towels, water on course for us, tees fairly long grass, roughs somewhat tough to get out of, and a number of quitexwet spots, fairways good, all greens with little or bigger hill in front and usually wet, greens putt pretty good only a few bunkers and look to have some sand, can drive carts to car, GN price pretty good today, played in about 3 1/2 which is pretty fair for here, this year the relative price on GN has been pretty good for here being a little shorter course
Winter golf on AZ
Pro shop staff, outside staff and beverage cart staff were very friendly, efficient and professional. The course was in great condition. Fairways and greens were in great condition. Some, not all, tee boxes were not as well prepared as the course overall. Speed of play resulted in a less than 3.5 hour round. We could have played faster but the other twosome in our group needed a little more time on each hole. Course is challenging with some lengthy par 3 holes. Some par 4 holes could be driveable if you are a long ball hitter! Will return for another great experience.
Wet from rain
The course was very wet due to recent rain. The fairways were great even though the wet ground which is normal. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Good course, needs marshal
No marshal and slow play on front due to threesome with little experience and only two sets of clubs, Back was uncrowded and very quick play. Nice course overall and will play again.
Nice layout, excellent condition
Played 9 holes on the Four Peaks course the day after Christmas. Fairways were full. Greens in excellent condition, a tad in the quick side which is to my liking. Booked as a single and grouped with three charming ladies. The only downside to the round: On the third hole we caught up with a FIVESOME!! Thereafter we waited on every shot. Why this was allowed on a relatively busy day is beyond me. Pace of play aside, a good experience. I'll be back.
Good shape
Easy to find, easy check in, carts clean with no sand bottles, seats with few tears but work, water buckets for our towels, water on course for us, tees pretty good, fairways good, roughs dry but spongy growth makes for slightly difficult contact, bunkers short on sand, greens putt pretty fair, but seem to have different speeds for each nine, played in under4 hrs, but was a little slow for here, this year prices on GN seem pretty fair compared to other courses and years , can take carts to car, parking lot good
