Four Peaks Course at Sunland Springs Village
About
Like many other golf courses in the Phoenix area, Sunland Springs Village is a desert style golf course. But unlike many other desert courses, this golf course has grass extending from the tees all the way to the greens. This executive course also features wide fairways with forgiving landing areas and large, undulating greens. There are water hazards and sand bunkers placed strategically throughout the course. The par-4 second hole is the signature hole, requiring a difficult shot over water. In addition to the golf course, Sunland Springs Village is also home to a golf school and practice facilities including a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

finally played,worth the wait
This is a very nice executive golf course, played all 3 nines in windy, cold, rain(on 1st nine) weather, fun to play has water in play on some of the holes interesting greens to putt played superstition nice first, four peaks, then san tan each nice is a little bit different 1st nine wide fairways and large greens,2nd nine a little tighter fairways big greens,3rd nine much tighter fairways lots of slopes in the greens but overall a fun golf course...
Course played well.
Course played well, greens were quick but readable, greens held approach shots, only problem we had was finding tee box to 2nd nine (Sunland) there wasn’t any signage to direct us, had to stop at clubhouse and get directions.
Pretty good
Fun short course with some interesting holes... and one of the 9s has a decent par 5 on it. Rough was very dry and played more like dirt than grass, and is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. If I’d been able to stay on the fairway.....
A nice little course
We played San Tan/Four Peaks duo which were both in good shape after the over seeding. Finished the round in about 3 1/2 hours even with the cart path only restriction. Improvements to the clubhouse were noticed and the maintenance folks were active but cordial. Greens held very well with the additional watering !
SUNLAND SPRINGS VILLAGE
This is a short course but fun to play just to get out and swing the club. It would be nicer if they did something about all the goose crap but I guess that happens. It was in great condition and a great price. I am to the point where some of the East valley courses in it's range are getting top bucks because it's snowbird season and I am going to find it difficult to play them this summer because of their winter pricing. How about some "locals Rates" people? SSV is a good play.
Pace was slow.... but
Front nine was a bit of agony, slow, slow. At the turn, the course folks allowed us to move on to the other (3rd) course. It was terrific, greens were very tricky, 3 putts common, difficult to read. However, the quality of the greens and fairways were terrific.
Great rainy round
Greens were in great shape and fairways were perfect. Caught a little rain but didn’t keep us away
Ok shorter course
Easy to find, easy check in, carts ok, tees good, fairways soft and cut, roughs dormant, bunkers slightly short on sand, greens putted and rolled the best that we've played since October, you still have to chip and putt and can pitch and run, good price on GolfNow this time
Great shape
It was a fun round of golf. Cart path only was a little difficult. Play went quickly.
Great greens mosquitoes everywhere
Course was in great shape along with the greens. Mother Nature had its way today and ate us alive. Be sure to always have bug spray in your bag, they do not carry it at the clubhouse. Watch for ants and mosquitoes
watch out for ants
Nice little course. However, watch out for ants. On several occasions I found small ants swarming all over my shoes and ankles biting me. They get on you really fast.
The greens are a little slow, but that is fine once you get used to it. The guy at the counter was lacking in positive demeanor or enthusiasm.
I will probably play again as I enjoy playing executive courses.
The staff was friendly and helpful explaining the course layout. It was our first time there
Enjoyed this course and the staff was outstanding!
