Located next to several residential areas, the golf course at the Apache Wells Country Club was designed with seniors in mind. With that consideration, the course is mostly flat to make it an easily walkable. The course was originally only a nine-hole course but in 1966, Milt Coggins designed the back nine holes. Trees line many of the fairways and there is also a housing development that runs alongside the fairways. Water hazards also come into play on several holes. Being so close to a residential area, there are many out-of-bounds stakes on both sides. Apache Wells Country Club is open to the public from mid-April to the end of October.

A short, straightforward course.
Apache Wells, is a wide open, short course. It is fairly well trapped, and a fun track. Most greens have about a five foot ramp as you approach which makes it important to carry the approach shots to the green.
Outstanding Course
The staff is excellent and very friendly and helpful. The course is very well maintained and is a pleasure to golf at this course.
I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a superb golf experience.
Course is well maintained.
The course is challenging for an average golfer. It is well laid out and "bad" lies are not very common. Great course for someone who hits the ball straight. The back nine has four par 5s which requires a strong finish.
Good Course, Enjoyable.
The course was well maintained and there was no bunching up of groups. The restaurant was also very enjoyable and reasonable.
Right pace of play, right price. Conditions good.
We enjoyed the pace of play. Greens is good condition. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The course was very well kept
Apache Wells was very challenging and well kept . Played very quickly we teed off at 7 am and we were done at 10 : 00 am .very enjoyable will definitley plat there again
