Westbrook Golf Club - Vistas Course

this is a very fun course. the front side has holes that lean left or right. the back has some very interesting plays, risk reward and the greens are smooth. we enjoyed the day

Played as a threesome, but a fourth joine us. The fourth was a great guy, and we played in less than 4 hours.
The greens were still a bit slow and bumpy as they had been aerated recently and they had not quite returned to their normal state.

Course was in really good shape with the exception of many of the collars around the greens. Many were under repair, being aerated, or lacking grass. But otherwise, the layout is good with some nice challenges, and the greens and fairways are in real nice shape.

Very nice course in the middle of retirement community. Tee boxes are level, forgiving fairways for not so straight drives, and smooth greens. Perfect course if your looking for a not super challenging 72 to play. No outside liquor license so leave the cooler at home!

The course was in good shape and was fun to play. Played at our own pace, never waited on a shot and no pressure from behind.

I played an afternoon tee time and got off early and was able to play about 14 holes. This course is in excellent condition, fairways are nice and wide and the greens we smooth and fast. You won't be disappointed no matter what your handicap is. Give it a try.

It was nice to play a course that was fun to play, had really great greens, wasn't tricked up and you weren't punished for a slight miss hit. This is not a difficult course it could use a few more bunkers but it was scenic and well kept up.I'll be back.

Even though we played in a light drizzle the staff went out of their way to help us out, offering extra towels at the start and additional dry towels for us at the turn.
The course was in great shape and enjoyed playing here. Only blip was you can not buy any beer to take out on the course. Very dry round.

This course is a hidden gem. Staff was friendly, sent us out as a twosome 15 minutes early. The course was in great shape from tee boxes, fairways, and the greens were the best I played on anywhere all winter. Excited to play the Lakes course

Course was in good shape. Greens rolled true and presented some challenge, especially if above the hole. Played from the whites as reds were a little short for what I am used to playing from forward tees back home. Enjoyed the course. Now want to play the Lakes Course and compare.

Interesting course. It is not your typical "grip it and rip it" course. This course rewards smart plays and punishes unnecessary risks. There are plenty of bunkers in strategic locations. There are a few holes with water hazards and a few narrow landing areas. Overall, I enjoyed my round. There are some narrow fairways which I played cautiously. My usual "miss" is to push right. I played further to the left on the holes which I thought were tight. There was plenty of room if you played these holes smart.
My biggest concern was that my tee time was later in the day and the course had a frost delay. The staff told me that the average time to play this course was 4 hours. I was doubtful of this as the sun would set in about 4 hours from when I my new tee started after the frost delay. The staff offered to cancel my tee time and refund my money if I wanted. I have never ever - EVER had a course offer to do this. Most tell you "TS" and charge you anyway.
Regardless, I went ahead and played the round hopeful that the staff was correct and I would be able to finish all 18 holes. Things started off slow as one group fell two holes behind and slowed down everyone. Finally a ranger came through and suddenly we began to speed up. I was able to finish the round in 4 hours as the staff had said. Two groups behind me also finished.
I really enjoyed my round at this course. Especially after we sped up.
Fun course. Play smart and you will do well. Grip it and rip it on every hole and you will find trouble.

This time of year you get paired up with snowbirds We did and met delightful folks The course was in great shape greens a little fast water does come into play I will definitely play this course again I also will you punctuation when I graduate from high school........

Staff is outstanding, course condition is excellent.

I really enjoyed it again. I played it during the summer and it was nice and playing it after the reseeded it was even better. Loved it

Course was great shape, compared to Lakes, you think
since the course is going to be closed for next summer, what ever they did to the greens could have waited until then. Back to the Vista, some of the greens were
sneaky, challenging and really fun to play.
I believe its a course you might enjoy playing again should want to score better...

I found the fairways to be OK but the greens are not fast enough they are slow they look good maybe they are saving them for the winter

Got a 3:25pm tee-off time..This not good enough to complete 18 holes before darkness. Pro shop did not warn us of this.We managed to finish 14 holes..In November you need to tee-off before 2pm to complete 18 holes.Course in great shape..pace of play was slow.

Course was in good shape with greens that were actually green in color and in excellent shape. Tees and fairways were brown as the course will start reseeding on Monday. Interesting layout of holes and I would highly recommend playing this course. Finally all staff encountered were helpful and very friendly.
