The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Best condition course has been in and I’ve been playing it for fifty years. What a shame people are to lazy to fix ball marks.

Wide open but fun to play. Fairways bunkers and greens all fairly decent. Pace was good-just over 4 hrs. Decent range. Staff were great

Average muni course
Greens and fairways were very good but the course had few interesting features. The course was built in the 1930’s and a lot of holes feel like they are down and back. The staff was very friendly and the driving range is nice.

fun for the price
With the ridiculous prices being asked for in the scottsdale/phoenix area this course is reasonable. We played after a few days of rain so conditions were a bit wet(not Encanto;s fault). Course was fun, quite flat, greens were decent, fairways good. If you are looking to play with friends and not break the bank then Encanto is a solid choice.

I would like to be refunded the money I paid extra for the carts to GolfNow in Course could not refund any money and they had no carts available. Text.

Good value
Very flat walkable course.
Tees and fairways in good condition. Bunkers variable depth of sand. Difficult to land and stop ball on raised greens. Not a flat green in sight and some evil pin positions.
Would play again.

Long Time Admirer
I used to play Encanto 40 years ago and loved it then. The upkeep over the years is remarkable. The green are consistent and good. The fairways are in excellent shape and the rough is very playable and fair and difficult to lose your bsll.

Stop over selling the course....
My tee time was 2:30, it gets dark at 6. As I was attempting to pay, they were still accepting walk-ons. They told the single who was with our threesome that there was no way we would get through 18 so they allowed him to just pay for 9. However they still have tee times for 18 out to 3:30 pm. The group in front of us was a 5 some. They had no ranger or starter keeping an eye on the course or pace of play. They have 8 minutes between tee times. Some holes had 2 groups on the tee box, 1 group on the green and a group waiting to hit on. It was ridiculous.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course.
