The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Always my favorite city course
I’m always so impressed by Encanto for the value you get. The course is always in good shape, especially for the end of summer time. And everyone is so friendly there too. Pace of play was great, about a 3.5 hour round on a Saturday is great, will certainly play again!

Good course
Wasn’t so bad but wish we knew they had aerated the course the day before we played. Greens were lumpy and lots of sand. Should have been playing for discounted price.

Another city of Phoenix golf course gem
Greens have been recently punched all things considering it is what it is.
course was lush and green with all the recent rains just keep an eye on your shot as the rough is very thick.
As with the other City of Phoenix courses and seeming to be the only courses in town who actually have sand in the traps it was nice to see that the majority of the people are raking after their shots.

Golf etiquette
The course as usual with some phenomenal shape City of Phoenix courses are few courses that actually have sand in the bunkers and encanto Park actually has at least four rakes per minimum on each sand trap it's a shame some of the people that are playing don't have enough common Sense courtesy brains or etiquette to rake the trap when they're done, if you don't have enough brains to rake the trap maybe you should stick to Goofy golf

Historic, easy, but busy course
I grew up in Phoenix and started playing Encanto when I was 16 years old. This round brought back a ton of memories. The course id fairly straightforward, fairly easy, and fairly pleasant to play. BUT... it was busy when I went and that hasn't changed over the years. Book an afternoon time in the middle of the afternoon and you will have an open course.... but a sweaty affair as a whole.,

Greens are almost there!
Greens are close to being perfect! Incredible price, pace of play outstanding. It's a really well taken care of Muni, easy course not gonna challenge you. Fun though!

Great for price
Staff dudes were chill. Course was fine for July in Arizona. Dead spots here and there. Played alone, started at 330 got done 630. If it wasn’t for few two somewhere ahead I woulda been done quicker. Course isn’t that challenging. 6400 yards from tips. Course is straight in front of you, no tricks or anything. Greens on the smaller side on some homes. Good mix of par 3’s. Pretty flat

History
This course has alot of history and my of us Arizonans have been playing this course for many years. We are the ones that support your city of Phoenix golf all year long and we should get the summer pricing year round.
