About
The Par-3 Course at Aquila is a perfect complement to the original championship course at the facility. Although the nine-hole course is easier, it still has a unique and challenging design. Conveniently located just outside of downtown Phoenix, the golf course offers an affordable option for golfers to work on their short game. Numerous bunkers and native grass roughs add some interesting elements to the game. The serene desert landscape also provides majestic views of the Estrella Mountains and the downtown Phoenix skyline. The course has two teeing areas per hole as well as driving ranges and practice greens.

Short game heaven
Holes were a little in the short side even for a par 3 nine hole course. Great for short game practice. Loved the curvature of the fairways and lay of greens
Short course, big fun
9 holes, all par 3s. Holes range from about 66 yards to 188 yards. Like the big course next door, the par 3 course is always in good condition. Great little design and lots of fun. It’s a great course for kids, beginners, and seniors. It’s also great for anyone who wants to work on their short game. For me it was about getting back out golfing after 5 months because I had two knee replacements and it was my first time to walk a course and play golf since my last surgery 10 weeks ago. It was a nice way to start out again.
Great Course
Played the 9 hole par 3 and it was amazing. Very friendly staff, great practice facility and amazing course conditions. Only $18 and they allow you to play another round if it’s not too busy! Recommend this to anyone looking for a quick or affordable round. Can’t wait to try the full 18!
Pristine & Lush
Love love love Aguila! The most beautiful, lush course we played all week, including TPC Scottsdale and The Raven Club. Aguila is gorgeous, highly recommend. Two 👍🏻👍🏻 way up.
Aguila 9 in Fantastic Shape
This was my first time playing the executive course and was in IMMACULATE shape. The 9-hole course is right next to the 18-hole course and it also looked like it was in great shape. The staff in the pro shop were pleasant without being syrupy. The pace of play was perfect. I would absolutely play here again.
3 par course
Low pace they don’t respect the tee times first come first serve and encourage people to playing as many times as they want.
Great short course 9 hole
Super fun short course to walk, super easy to navigate and quite a good array of hole distances to make you still have to do some club selection constantly. The course looks amazing and every time I have been there playing there is always nice people keeping it chill on the course even when you have to wait at the tee box for a bit

Always a good value.
I've played three times now. I've met some good folks out playing. Sometimes it backs up a little but there's plenty of available seating and the course is very pleasant. My boys have a great time and it's challenging from the back tees. Great value.
First time here
This short, all Par 3s, 9 hole course is worth the money. It is cheap and easy. It is definitely for beginners or those looking to work on their irons and wedge game.
The chipping green, the two putting greens and driving range are all great! Very nice and well maintained.
The big disadvantage of the 9 hole course is that it is a cheap, public, first come first serve. So it attracts a variety of characters and has lots of radios blasting.
I would take my young son there to learn.
