About
The Par-3 Course at Aquila is a perfect complement to the original championship course at the facility. Although the nine-hole course is easier, it still has a unique and challenging design. Conveniently located just outside of downtown Phoenix, the golf course offers an affordable option for golfers to work on their short game. Numerous bunkers and native grass roughs add some interesting elements to the game. The serene desert landscape also provides majestic views of the Estrella Mountains and the downtown Phoenix skyline. The course has two teeing areas per hole as well as driving ranges and practice greens.

Sure. We would come back to this course. Rental clubs were brand new. Good value for the money and going around again is free!
Great Time at Aguila Exec 9
I only had 2 hours to play before I had to mee tup with my family. I played this 9 hole Par 27 with my dad on Thanksgiving 2025 and it took us about 1.5-1.75 hours because it was busy. So I figured it would be busy also, but it was dead empty since it was a Monday morning. I got there about 7:20 AM so I could warm up a little and then play my round. Since it was empty, I went straight into it. I had no one in front of me and no one be hind me...so i played three balls the whole round. I finished in an hour. So I played another round, but it was a bit busier so I paired with a random, and thankfully he was a nice guy. Took us about 1.25 hours. The greens were a bit dry so they ran fast, but overall, a great day!
Great little short game course
Unable to play - GOLFNOW is misleading as this course has no tee times
We booked a tee time through GOLFNOW. We had no idea there is no such thing as a tee time on this course. It is first come-first serve. We were dismayed that there were six groups ahead of us on the first tee…at least a 40-45 min wait AFTER our stated tee time, with waiting on every hole. We did not have 5 hrs to play a nine hole par three course so we were unable to play. It should be disclosed on GOLFNOW that a tee time here is meaningless….
Fun Course!
In town from Omaha to visit my brother and wanted to play some golf. First time here. Played the 9 hole course as it was my first time out this year. Slow start til we got to hole 3 then it was perfect after that with no waiting or bunching up. Polite staff, bought 2 golf shirts, heading home tomorrow, but will be back in my next visit!
Short game heaven
Holes were a little in the short side even for a par 3 nine hole course. Great for short game practice. Loved the curvature of the fairways and lay of greens
Short course, big fun
9 holes, all par 3s. Holes range from about 66 yards to 188 yards. Like the big course next door, the par 3 course is always in good condition. Great little design and lots of fun. It’s a great course for kids, beginners, and seniors. It’s also great for anyone who wants to work on their short game. For me it was about getting back out golfing after 5 months because I had two knee replacements and it was my first time to walk a course and play golf since my last surgery 10 weeks ago. It was a nice way to start out again.
Great Course
Played the 9 hole par 3 and it was amazing. Very friendly staff, great practice facility and amazing course conditions. Only $18 and they allow you to play another round if it’s not too busy! Recommend this to anyone looking for a quick or affordable round. Can’t wait to try the full 18!
Pristine & Lush
Love love love Aguila! The most beautiful, lush course we played all week, including TPC Scottsdale and The Raven Club. Aguila is gorgeous, highly recommend. Two 👍🏻👍🏻 way up.
Aguila 9 in Fantastic Shape
This was my first time playing the executive course and was in IMMACULATE shape. The 9-hole course is right next to the 18-hole course and it also looked like it was in great shape. The staff in the pro shop were pleasant without being syrupy. The pace of play was perfect. I would absolutely play here again.
3 par course
Low pace they don’t respect the tee times first come first serve and encourage people to playing as many times as they want.
