The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Nice course. Smooth greens. Fairways were good, but on some the grass was thin.

Great way to spend the day
Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Layout is a little long for a city course. 400+ yards is too long for par 4s. Par 3s are long too. Fairways were thin on grass. Green were great. True and consistent. Cart person was easy to be found. Friendly and hard working. I will be back but please work on keeping the pace of play in your thoughts

Nice simple course
Wide fairways, no bush , no lost balls …all means pace of play was good…3.5 hours to play. Greens were bumpy but had been over seeded recently.

Great Track
Pace of play was under 4 hrs and it was packed. Nice layout with some tough holes and fast greens. Played as a single and paired with a great group of other players. Really enjoyable day. Great muni course that I would definately play again.

Great condition, pace of play started slow but sped up after 3 holes. Overall had a blast

Great Course
Course was great. Nice visuals throughout course. In a nice neighbourhood, scenic backdrop of city skyscrapers, palm trees and water features. Has driving range, restaurant and proshop. Course is flat and walkable. Greens for me were a little tricky. A little faster than average, and has undulations but putts didnt really break that much on that day. THere are a few holes that have doglegs. My only concern was there were a few holes which had tee boxes were located closely behind greens so someone playing behind you could hit into your group if they over hit the green. Par 3 seemed to be a little long for people who golf the forward tees.....about 150yd.. Enjoyed playing this course.

Wide Open
Got paired up with some seasoned players. Although neither of us were birdie machines, we still had a good time. The tips weren't too far back at 6400, the greens were FAST, and it was hard to lose a ball.
Being from Arkansas the humidity definitely changes how the ball flies here in Arizona. Thats just an adjustment on my end. More than one round, I could possibly adjust faster.
All and all good price and conditions for a Muni course.

Always my favorite city course
I’m always so impressed by Encanto for the value you get. The course is always in good shape, especially for the end of summer time. And everyone is so friendly there too. Pace of play was great, about a 3.5 hour round on a Saturday is great, will certainly play again!

Good course
Wasn’t so bad but wish we knew they had aerated the course the day before we played. Greens were lumpy and lots of sand. Should have been playing for discounted price.

Another city of Phoenix golf course gem
Greens have been recently punched all things considering it is what it is.
course was lush and green with all the recent rains just keep an eye on your shot as the rough is very thick.
As with the other City of Phoenix courses and seeming to be the only courses in town who actually have sand in the traps it was nice to see that the majority of the people are raking after their shots.

Golf etiquette
The course as usual with some phenomenal shape City of Phoenix courses are few courses that actually have sand in the bunkers and encanto Park actually has at least four rakes per minimum on each sand trap it's a shame some of the people that are playing don't have enough common Sense courtesy brains or etiquette to rake the trap when they're done, if you don't have enough brains to rake the trap maybe you should stick to Goofy golf
