The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

The course was getting ready for overseeing so the course was dry and hard. Greens were ok but speed was hard to read. The layout is pretty open with pretty much the same on each hole. Some long par 3s.

The new club house bar is awesome, an the staff is very cool and friendly.
Great course for the money
Played Encanto yesterday and enjoyed the course. Very open and easy. Definitely a great starter course. For 50$ with a cart it was well worth playing. The greens and fairways were in good shape for the conditions. Not the most scenic or challenging course in AZ but still a great layout and fun.
Good value
If you a just looking to get out and play this course is fine. The layout is pretty basic but the price is very reasonable. If you are looking for a dessert style course this is not it in is located in downtown Phoenix but the views of the city are nice.
Fun in the sun
We had a nice breeze, a little cloud cover,
and a nice pace of play. We were paired with 2 younger gentlemen and had a nice time. It was tough to get on the greens because the “run up was wet and long and the greens were hard as rocks.
Definitely impressed with this course!!
Here on vacation for 10 days from NC and played a different course every day from $16 to $350. Booked us on this track through GolfNow to fill in a vacant day. Read the reviews, it’s a muni course in downtown Phoenix, so not expecting anything mind blowing. This course was solid! Pretty straight away, LONG holes, even the par 4’s and par 3’s are 177, 188….conditions were great, greens a little fuzzy and slow, but for a golfer looking a simple but solid track this is it!

Greens 👍
Greens where in very nice shape for Bermuda and putted or rolled nicely. Great pPro’s ~ Mike and Will As well the Ladies where accommodating and friendly. My son and I got practice balls, practice putted, and played nine holes. Had some basic refreshments from the pro shop afterwards ~ 👍👍⛳️
Nice municipal GC
Great local municipal golf course, nice practice facilities and clubhouse as well lounge or halfway house. Friendly accommodating Professional staff .
