Willowcreek Golf Course
About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

Great course
Pace of play was a bit slow as there were two groups of five in front of us. That’s the only thing I don’t like about some of the Sun City courses.
Great course but slow because of 5-somes
This is the only complaint I have. The course allowed two groups of 5 to play ahead of us as a two-some. Needless to say, we waited constantly, which really affects the rhythm of your game. Luckily, they left after 9 holes, but you might want to ask before you play.
PLAYED THIS COURSE OVER 10 TIMES
This is a good course , tight fairways , not to difficult sand traps , true greens and almost perfect fairways. Only problem they have is the staff and pricing. This is a old people’s course (no problem with that) but with a huge wave of new golfers since the pandemic I think it’s best to help accommodate for the younger crowd. You have to be 19+ to even drive the carts at willow creek. 12+ to even be a passenger. It’s ridiculous and keeps the course from growing and inviting family’s. They also charge 12$ for a cart and the carts honestly are mediocre at BEST. They’re fast and that’s it. The pro shop staff is rude and I feel like they hate there jobs and don’t want to be there. The only reason I keep going back is because it’s 5 minutes from my house and it’s starting to grow on me. I really wish they would decrease prices on carts and even T times in general , get rid of the age rules and get younger friendlier staff who is proud to be on a golf course.
Great shape. Fun course!
I love this course! Lots of narrow driver shots, requiring some accuracy. Although you don’t really get into too much trouble if you are off. Fairways were excellent!
Average
The guy in the pro shop seemed almost upset that we did not want carts for an additional charge. The pace of play was decent. We had to wait, but it moved along. The fairways were varied and most slope towards the cement creak. Some of the fairways were pretty good others were a bit thin. The greens were an oddity. They putted slower than they looked, but were extremely hard to read. The ball would not stay on line and would seem to randomly break. Best bet was to hit it firm and aim for the stick.
Enjoyable Walk
The course was in great shape. With so many courses not having water on the course it was really great that the water fountains were working as it was a record setting day with the temperature.
There were a few small waits but with our group walking it was minimal. The 3-some in front of us on carts had more waits. We completed out round in 4 hrs and 10 minutes.
Can't wait to play there again.
Great course
Course was in great shape. Pendant the best we've played so far this fall!
Mostly good
Had a 5 some with 4 walkers and 1 rider.
Played in 3:20 minutes.
Course was in decent shape. Greens were slow.
Lots of watering so golf ball did not roll much on fairways and was constantly muddy.
Rude People
It was our first time playing this course, and we paid $12 a person for a cart so $50 for the family. Only get spoken to over the intercoms on the first hole that they can’t go on the grass. This is a cheap $20 course, and not going on the grass is dumb. The worst part is they wait to tell us this until after we paid $50 for the carts. A push cart would’ve made our round faster, but they somehow forgot to tell us until the first hole and didn’t let sis switch.
