About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

Cart path only = raise the greens fee!!
Willowcreek raised their prices to play while cart path only is in effect greens in TERRIBLE CONDITION, These Sun City courses should NOT RAISE THE FEES while still on cart path only conditions, they should be ashamed, charge winter rates but only when course is without restrictions
Pre-Overseed
Dry firm greens, take one less club. Otherwise, good layout. Enjoyable walk. Will definitely play again after seeding.
Willowcreek
The course has improved since I last played it. The issue has been the greens and it still is . They are new so it will take 2 to 3 yrs. to get better and they are improving.
Greens are so close to being perfect.
This place hasn’t had a great review in a wile. I’m here to say is a fabulous golf course. Greens are almost perfect, still a tad bit hard but greens and golf coarse are worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Great challenging course with a creek where your ball could end up in with a great shot just cause of slope!

Hard as a rock will not hold a normal shot the greens on the other side will brook are real good ?.......?????
Typical Sun City Course - open layout; not crowded in summer
Practically, no one else on the course as we played at 3 pm on a Wednesday, so pace of play was fantastic. Price was great, as well. Corse was in pretty good condition. Greens were good - very few bad spots; good speed. Some fairways had some brown spots (typical at this time of year).
Enjoyed the round. Got done in about 3 hrs. Would play again due to price/value and ability to play quickly.
Greens in terrible condition
I advise you save your money and go somewhere else. They do not mention in the clubhouse that the greens are pretty much concrete. Plenty of other sun city courses in 100% better conditions.
I’m conflicted....
OK, reviewing this course is complicated. We got to the course early knowing that not a whole lotta tee times were filled. The gentleman in the pro shop let us out early and we breezed thru the course in les than 3 hours. The course was in very nice shape EXCEPT FOR THE GREENS!!!!! They were in TERRIBLE shape and have been for a while!!!! I am not sure if they are doing anything at all to get them in shape. One can only hope........I really hope they solve the problem because the course has a bunch of positives....
Fast greens
The last 2 times we played were both at Willowcreek. The greens roll true and are VERY fast. If you play fast greens all the time you prefer them. We don't, and I am 3 putting more than usual. Pace of play was outstanding. Staff are always friendly.
Greens are ridiculous
Fairways and rough are in decent shape, Greens however have no grass (maybe roots). Rolls flat but save you money. Very frustrating.
Couse great, Greens?
Sent off early by myself and and the front nine went very quick. Joined the 2 hot-deal guys sent from my time sent even earlier after 9 holes. The course was in good shape except for the greens and even they were smooth and obviously rolled but unreasonably hard and fast. On 3 holes, for example, the ball first stopped within 6" from the cup and then proceeded to roll 10' to 15' away. Even the pros would scoff at this speed.
Can't really complain with a round in 3 hours, on green fairways, and great company.
Rock Hard Bare Greens
It's a shame.
The greens have no grass and are rock hard. Believe what everyone else is saying.
At the very least they should saturate them with water twice a day to hold.
Concrete Greens !!
The greens are impossible ! they are very hard with no bladed grass ! they don't hold at all are very slippery & fast because of no grass, the rest of the course is fine, The greens are a NIGHTMARE to play on
Green in awful condition
It would have been nice if we had been told before playing that there was no grass on the greens.
Fast greens
No grass on the greens .Nothing to stop the ball from rolling off them. Putt at the hole with less slope and speed than usual. Staff is friendly and course is in good.
Concrete Greens.!!
The Greens are terrible!! VERY HARD, shots into them do not hold, there is some sort of grass on them I think but unknown, you never have to fix a ball mark because they are none,
Greens are really rough
Hard packed greens with different grasses to no grass. The rest of the course was nice. Good challenging approach shots with pins protected by bunkers. All in all, a fun day.
