About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

1st visit
New to the Sun City area, Willowcreek was #10 since Nov. 1st. Decent condition even in the adjacent areas just off and around each hole, typical in Sun City, . Pretty wide and flat like all the Sun City courses we've tried so far, not much trouble, greens rolled good. Staff was friendly.
A good place to golf
Course is in fairly good shape, some challenging holes with water hazards along the fairways. We were paired with a couple of golfers who played there before so we got some advice on where to land the ball to avoid trouble. Course was not too busy as it was pretty cold so we played in 3 1/2 hours. We enjoyed the layout and will be returning to this course.

Played here last year and the greens had no grass.
This year different story. The greens were true and Rabat a great pace. Quick but fair. Greens hold a good shot into them also.
Fairways and tees were also in good shape
It deserves a 4.4 star rating.
Horrible- Don’t waste your money.
I played this course today and they started my group on hole 10. As we came around the turn to hole 1 the Marshall told us to hold on for 1 hour until they got caught up. Are you kidding me. They were sending groups of 5 players out and guys were just standing around with no one to push them along. I asked for a 9 hole credit and they told me this is normal. NORMAL? I’ve played hundreds of rounds and never had this happen. Long sorry short they didn’t give me any credits and my entire group walked off the course.
Nice course close to my home
Greens were uneven and VERY slow and bumpy.....but early after overseeding and look forward to better greens after growth and mowing fixes them up.....otherwise played round under 4 hrs and was a pleasant experience.
I use to like this course
Greens were in VERY rough shape. Lots of Canada geese along with MUCH evidence of their plentiful diet. Pace of play was OK 4:30. Typical Sun City layout and the sand traps had grass growing in them!
I used to like this course; no more!
Poorest greens in towm
About 25% of every green had no grass as a result of overseeding failure. Greens were no puttable. Stay away from this course until the summer.
Cart path only = raise the greens fee!!
Willowcreek raised their prices to play while cart path only is in effect greens in TERRIBLE CONDITION, These Sun City courses should NOT RAISE THE FEES while still on cart path only conditions, they should be ashamed, charge winter rates but only when course is without restrictions
Pre-Overseed
Dry firm greens, take one less club. Otherwise, good layout. Enjoyable walk. Will definitely play again after seeding.
Willowcreek
The course has improved since I last played it. The issue has been the greens and it still is . They are new so it will take 2 to 3 yrs. to get better and they are improving.
Greens are so close to being perfect.
This place hasn’t had a great review in a wile. I’m here to say is a fabulous golf course. Greens are almost perfect, still a tad bit hard but greens and golf coarse are worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Typical Sun City Course - open layout; not crowded in summer
Practically, no one else on the course as we played at 3 pm on a Wednesday, so pace of play was fantastic. Price was great, as well. Corse was in pretty good condition. Greens were good - very few bad spots; good speed. Some fairways had some brown spots (typical at this time of year).
Enjoyed the round. Got done in about 3 hrs. Would play again due to price/value and ability to play quickly.
Greens in terrible condition
I advise you save your money and go somewhere else. They do not mention in the clubhouse that the greens are pretty much concrete. Plenty of other sun city courses in 100% better conditions.
I’m conflicted....
OK, reviewing this course is complicated. We got to the course early knowing that not a whole lotta tee times were filled. The gentleman in the pro shop let us out early and we breezed thru the course in les than 3 hours. The course was in very nice shape EXCEPT FOR THE GREENS!!!!! They were in TERRIBLE shape and have been for a while!!!! I am not sure if they are doing anything at all to get them in shape. One can only hope........I really hope they solve the problem because the course has a bunch of positives....
