Willowcreek Golf Course
About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

great value
Willowcreek is in good shape, has a variety of holes and is great value...
WC
Pace a little slow for front 9 excelleent on back, played in about 4 hours. carts very clen and great shape.
Major in Minors
I booked tee time through GolfNow and the course charged me additional money for a cart when I got there. Pro shop employee, (Bob) would not correct the overcharge and said it was the websites fault.
Excellent Sun City course
Great Sun City, Arizona course. Most players are members or Sun City residents. Greens run moderately quick, fair variety of challenging holes (won't beat you up), friendly staff, & best of all, excellent price for peak winter pricing. If you're on the west side of the valley, give it try. For the money, it's worth the trip.
Great for golfers that don"t play much
Very good course for what I paid due to some rewards The rewards program is excellent for getting special ricing.
Great Value
I thought the course was in great shape. The greens rolled very true and the overseeding came in very good so the fairways, tees and rough were all very green.
Very nice golf course
The conditions were great for this time of year. Enjoyable round , except that the first nine was slow play.
Willow Brook
Course was in good shape. However was a very windy day so difficult to play. Pace of play was ok but could have been managed better. All in all a good day
Sunday Afternoon at Willowbrook
The fairways weren't cut -- too soon after opening from the reseeding. There was no roll at all on tee shots. The layout is perfect for elderly players -- its Sun City after all. Very reasonable fees -- the canteen was closed however.
Confused at the turn
This was the first time I played Willowcreek. The course was fairly full with almost all of the carts in use so when I checked in (as a single) I volunteered to walk - I took my pull cart. I zipped along, the course was OK, rough greens, but fair. Anyway, when I completed hole 9 and noticed the tee box sign off to the left of the green that indicated hole 10. So I play 3 holes and then discovered the scorecard didn't match up with yard ages indicated on tee box signs. Long story short, I discovered I went to the wrong course....after 9 holes on Willowcreek I inadvertently went to Willowbrook which is a much short executive course. After walking to several holes to find my bearings, I decided to play 2 more hole and go into the clubhouse. The staff person and 2 locals said that happens periodically since there is no map on the scorecard and no directional sign at the 9th green of Willowcreek. Lesson learned. I was tired and went back to the hotel.
Great local course
This course is fun to play with generous fairways and greens. No water or cart coolers so pack accordingly.
Great value
Got a hot deal for $15 on Golf Now, course was in excellent shape. Fairways and greens were lush and well manicured.
Very nice layout
Nice design and good variety of hole distances. Greens however, are rough and need work.
Great condition. Very pretty
I've played this course maybe 10 times. Very fair layout for seniors at 6100 yards. Sometimes pin placements are downright ridiculous. Beautiful course. Pace of play suffers during snowbird season.
Nice course.
This is a fairly challenging course. Fairways are generous but ample challenges offered by bunker placement. Bunkers are not easy to get out off due to heavy sand. Overall both my husband and myself enjoy playing here.
Willowcreek Golf course
One of the better courses in Sun City........we played this course for the first time near the end of our 3 month stay. Wish we would have found it earlier as it was much better than some of the other courses in the area. Great value.
Fun course, good tim e
In from Ohio for the month of March and wanted to play a course that would give me an opportunity to use all the clubs in my bag. Willowbrook was a fun course and I played with three members who couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. In fact, they invited me back for another round next week. The track isn't particularly difficult, but it was good enough to let me shake the winter off my Mizunos. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. Friendly staff. Snack shop was a little slow, but I went there for the golf more than the dining.
Nice course, rude patrons
Nice course, seemingly nice staff. Busy day....apparently a member style facility as the group I was in were "outsiders" 1st tee....group behind us before even being announced next on tee were there. Loud and boisterous, talking the whole time we were trying to tee off. 5some in front of our 4some and a 2some of ladies behind us at the turn hitting into us numerous times. Made for a perplexing round. I won't be back.
