Willowcreek Golf Course
About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

Very nice layout
Nice design and good variety of hole distances. Greens however, are rough and need work.
Great condition. Very pretty
I've played this course maybe 10 times. Very fair layout for seniors at 6100 yards. Sometimes pin placements are downright ridiculous. Beautiful course. Pace of play suffers during snowbird season.
Nice course.
This is a fairly challenging course. Fairways are generous but ample challenges offered by bunker placement. Bunkers are not easy to get out off due to heavy sand. Overall both my husband and myself enjoy playing here.
Willowcreek Golf course
One of the better courses in Sun City........we played this course for the first time near the end of our 3 month stay. Wish we would have found it earlier as it was much better than some of the other courses in the area. Great value.
Fun course, good tim e
In from Ohio for the month of March and wanted to play a course that would give me an opportunity to use all the clubs in my bag. Willowbrook was a fun course and I played with three members who couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. In fact, they invited me back for another round next week. The track isn't particularly difficult, but it was good enough to let me shake the winter off my Mizunos. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. Friendly staff. Snack shop was a little slow, but I went there for the golf more than the dining.
Nice course, rude patrons
Nice course, seemingly nice staff. Busy day....apparently a member style facility as the group I was in were "outsiders" 1st tee....group behind us before even being announced next on tee were there. Loud and boisterous, talking the whole time we were trying to tee off. 5some in front of our 4some and a 2some of ladies behind us at the turn hitting into us numerous times. Made for a perplexing round. I won't be back.
good location
did not like that I was charged for a cart , since I brought my own. Golf Now? or Willowcreek ?
Tuesday Trouble
While I only got to play the back nine (twice) it was in excellent shape. Did not get to play the front as there was an all day shotgun ladies tourney going on. After playing the back nine and checking in to play the front nine, myself and a group of players ahead of me were informed the ladies had not finished and it would be 40 minutes (actually and hour) before they would be done.
Fun back nine
Really enjoyed the back nine which has some very interesting holes with water in play on several of them. Course overall was in great shape with nice greens. My only beef is the policy to allow 5somes. We followed three groups and played in 4:45 and finished in the dark. They need to revisit this policy.
Excellent course
What a great course. Very c womhallenging c but women friendly at the same time
Great course
Have played this course a fee time this year. It is always good. Course of play is always good.
Excellent executive course
Very nice facility. Great golf carts. The course is in excellent condition and was enjoyable to play especially on such a nice day. It was our first time and we want to go back again. There was enough of a challenge to make it interesting to play but not to the point of frustration. Could use a sign pointing to the 10th tee after the ninth - we had to go ask.
Did not try the food so can't speak to that except to say a lot of golfers seemed to be enjoying it.
Willow Creek Golf Course
We had an enjoyable round with another friendly couple. I would recommend this course for good value, nice scenery and decent course conditions. The pace of play was restricted on the par 3s, but we were able to finish the round in 4.25 hours thanks to powercarts provided.
Typical Sun City Course
Greens/fairways in great condition. Cart path only was not really an issue. Front 9 layout not overly challenging with pretty straight forward holes. Back 9 more interesting and more aesthetic.
Course was in great shape
As summer comes to an end and over seeding is right around the corner the course was in great shape, plush fairways thick rough and the greens putted true. As always the staff was great, unfortunately the restaurant was closed by the time we finished. We played in 3 1/2 hours.
No Frills Sun City Course.
Pretty much you're average no frills Sun City course. Staff at this particular course are not golf professionals, so don't expect that, typical SC retiree behind the counters.
Course itself is in decent shape for the summer. Pace of play for the round was 2.25 hours, one of the advantages of the SC courses during the summer, usually always wide open.
Good place to go and work on your game during a summer afternoon.
Sun City Willowcreek
The greens had been punched and sanded, was not notified about this by Golf Now. I found out when I checked in and the round was most unpleasant.
Greens Recently Punched
Golf Now did not have this annotated. Practice facilities are great with driving range, and separate chipping and putting greens. Staff was great, of course no beverage cart. Course with the exception of the greens were in great shape. Will play again once greens fill in.
