Willowcreek Golf Course
About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

Fine day at willowcreek!
Courses around town are overseeding and willowcreek had a hot deal so I grabbed it. Still a little warm out but flew around and the course was in fine shape. The lady working behind the counter was just a joy and very friendly. Thanks!
Late summer fun
Course is in good shape for late summer and the heat we’re still having. Greens are rolling fairly fast and true. Played in under 2 1/2 hours with not many people on the course and no one holding me back.
Golf at Willowcreek
The value of this was very poor due to having to pay double for the round. Golf Now's website is the worst. As I was booking my tee time the website reset the date, and I booked the tee time for the wrong date. Because the website reset, I fell outside the cancellation policy and was forced to pay for a foursome I was unable to use. I plan to never use Golf Now ever again.
Willow Creek
The course was wide open. Played in three hours. Course conditions are getting better each week. Great value.
Nice Course
This is the 3rd time I've played Willowcreek this summer. Course condition just keeps getting better. Very few players on the course makes for a quick round. Virtually no burnt out fairways and greens were pretty good.
Willow Creek
Course is in good shape considering how hot it's been this summer. It's a very good deal and a good value.
Willow Creek GC
Pace of play was very good. Course was in good shape but the greens were slow due to being aerated recently.
Always Solid
I guess this was the first day open since pinching and sanding the greens so that’s unfortunate. Courses should be required to disclose that when booking, but regardless.. we love Willowcreek and all the other conditions were great. Fairways were as good as they are in the spring and pace of play was fine. Think we finished in 4:15 so just barely longer than normal. We love Willowcreek and everyone working is always so nice, especially in the snack bar.
Not too Shabby!
I enjoyed WillowCreek. The greens were slow and a little shaggy, but they rolled nicely, and shots that hit the greens held the green as they should. Fairways and tee boxes were also in good shape. The continual 4' water drainage ditch throughout the whole course was irritating, but only because it wasn't visible from everywhere. Someone who's played the course more than once, probably would t be bother by it at all.
The facilities are older, but well kept. No really pro shop to speak of, but if you forgot tees, or balls, they have what you need.
Nice course overall, for residents. If you're coming here for a golf trip though, there are better places to play.
Disrespectful Gloria
Showed up 30 minutes early to hit some balls before playing a fun round with my girlfriend. Walking up to the pro shop GLORIA made a comment at my girlfriend and said “I hope you brought another shirt if you want to golf today, tank tops are not allowed.” My girlfriend was wearing a very modest tank top that kept her skin well covered and exposed nothing but her arms and shoulders. I was taken back and took time to look up their dress code on golf now. Dress code says “no halter tops or bra type halters”. Dress code does not say anything about tank tops and she clearly decided to adjust the dress code just to suit her liking. Wayne at the front desk initially defended Gloria and then decided to agree with me that she was in the wrong. Becky at the cafe was fantastic. On the back 9 we spoke with another woman who was also wearing a tank top and she said that nobody at the pro shop mentioned anything about her attire. Gloria just saw my fit and pretty girlfriend, then decided that she just didn’t like her outfit. How ridiculous and unprofessional.
Course was great, greens played very well. I just can not get over the rude and disrespectful nature of Gloria. If Willowcreek knows what’s good for them, then they will get rid of gloria as soon as possible.
Worth playing
Nice course at a good price. Having been my first time playing this course, the streams running through the course caught me off guard a couple of times. I will play this course again with hopefully less issues with the streams.
Rude staff
The lady at checkin was rude as can be, they posted tee times between 3-4pm for $12 a piece. When we arrived she immediately gets mad at us and states that Wednesday it’s full price until 4. Unfortunately that’s not my problem, the course manager should’ve communicated that to golf now. Instead she acts like they have nothing to do with golf now, when in reality they do. Golf now doesn’t just pick random courses and send out tee times.
