Palmbrook Golf Club
About
The golf course at the Palmbrook Golf Club (formerly known as Palmbrook Country Club) has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. The course's greens and fairways are consistently kept in excellent condition making the course enjoyable to play. In addition to the spotless maintenance, the course at the Palmbrook Golf Club has a challenging design that incorporates water hazards in the form of a meandering brook and six lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast and hard to read. There are also several bunkers that can affect play. Four sets of teeboxes provide different options.

Great shape for summer
Greens were solid and predictable for summer. Typical dry spots throughout the course but overall in good shape.
Great layout, need TLC
We've played this course probably 50+ times over the last 10 years. I love the layout and usually, the course is in pretty good condition. This time, I was disappointed in the quality of the greens - too many bald patches and there are many brown dirt spots on the fairways. You get what you pay for. I'll be back.
Great place to play golf
This was our first time playing the course. While they were reworking the tees the course waz good. It is a long course but a lot of fun to play. The greens were receptive to approach shots left a divot and the ball stayed on the green. Their was enough grass around the greens for chipping. Layout of the course was great. Lots of trees to get some shade. I will definitely play here again.
Course Condition
Condition was pretty bad on the greens. Aerificafion and all greens were sand and rough patches. No green was clear and seeded and ready
Tee box was rough as well. Due to aerification, back 9 was closed and we had to play front twice
Price is good but that showed why based on the condition of the course
Office staff are nice and welcoming
I’ll wait till the course is fully ready and seeded.
3 Hours for 9 Holes
I don’t typically leave negative reviews but this was the worst golf experience I’ve had.
Pace of play was completely out of control. It took nearly 3 hours to play nine holes. Throughout the round, it was common to see multiple groups waiting on tee boxes while additional groups were still sitting in the fairway ahead. At one point, the course looked more like a traffic jam than a golf course.
The explanation that there was a tournament earlier in the day doesn’t hold up. A tournament should not impact public tee times hours later. Proper spacing and tee sheet management should prevent that from happening.
What made the experience even more frustrating was arriving before our tee time and finding a line of groups already waiting to tee off. The course was backed up before our round even started.
I understand slow days happen. I understand a course can get busy. What I don’t understand is allowing conditions to deteriorate to the point where nine holes takes three hours and players spend the majority of the day standing around waiting.
We chose to leave after nine holes because the round had become more frustrating than enjoyable. You couldn’t pay me to play a round like that.
For anyone considering playing here, make sure you carve out the entire day so you can finish 18 holes.
Good value course
Super professional and friendly staff.
Course was in decent shape - re-doing many tee boxes.
Rest of course was in good shape.
Great time
The staff is fantastic The course is very nice some greens were a bit spotty but overall it was a fun time i will definitely play here again place of play 4 hours
Good course
Pace of play was excellent. In fact we actually got to tee off 20 minutes early. Fairways were in very good conditions and the bunkers were easy to hit from. The course challenges you to stay clear of the water on the back 9 which presents more of a challenge.
Great day
Second time playing this course, first time playing 18. Great day, great course.
Great value for your money
This course is always been a great value for your money. I feel like the greens are average but right now they’re redoing all of the tea boxes. I really appreciate them spending some money to make the course better. I will definitely play again soon.
Great Value
To get an early morning tee time for this price with the course in this condition, there’s not many better values to be had right now.
Staff is always super friendly, course has a good layout and things were in nice condition. We play Palmbrook often and will continue to do so, new ownership is doing a great job with the place.
