About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Good value/conditions
Check in smooth. Groups were running on time. Fairways cut short with super fast greens. Finished in 4 hours. Beverage cart was seen 2 or 3 times during round. Will return.
1st time, will be back
I played this course just as they were preparing it for over seeding. However, the course wasn't too bad. The layout is great and, unlike other local courses, there's real sand in the bunkers!
I'll come back to plY here again real soon. It's a fun course, plenty of trees, and, overall, its a fun place to play a round of golf.
Not worth the money even it was cheap
Don’t call it green, the green is brown because it’s no grass.
Terrible - never again
I decided to play this course based on the reviews praising it. I guess I must have played a different course than the reviewers. I can't believe they said this course is in excellent condition. It is not. It is mostly dried out and hard pan everywhere. The range was so chewed up that it is mostly just dirt and a couple patches of dead dry grass. Nearly all of the tee boxes are dead grass. Maybe they are getting ready for over seed, I don't know. To be fair you can always put the ball on a tee and you won't touch the ground. The fairways are all thin grass and hard pan conditions with lots of areas devoid of grass entirely. My cart kept stalling out or would barely go. I went to cross the street and the cart just stalled out with traffic coming at me as I frantically tried to get the cart moving again. This happened a couple time until I finished the 12th hole and went to the 13th. The cart just died on me. I spent 10-15 minutes trying to revive it. Once I did get it started again I drove back to the Pro shop/cart return as I did not trust that it wouldn't strand me on the back 9 of the course. I let the attendant (who was he pro shop guy) know the cart had a problem and that I couldn't finish the round. He tried the cart and it would not go for him either. He fiddled around with it and got it to move and said it's ok now. REALLY?! You are going to put that cart back in service even though it stalls out. He did not care that I could not finish my round and instead of giving me a different cart so I could finish he just says "sorry sir". Wow. Great customer service. I will never return here again. So, to end on a positive note. There is plenty of sand in the sand traps. Whoopie!

Great layout
Haven’t played here in nearly 20yrs, great challenging course. Maybe not fantastic for beginners but tons of trees for shade n the summer, but you gotta hit your tee shots straight or you’re in jail. This gave me plenty opportunities to practice punching out to the fairway! :). Great course!
Great time
Haven't played here in a year all new sand in the traps great pace of play. Wonderful 2 some in was pair with. I will play here again still allot of trees so driving your balls in the fairway is a challenge
lots of dirt
Every hole there was bare spots around the greens. I could be because of the hot weather. Needs a little more attention particularly around the greens. Pace of play was awesome. Nobody pushing us .
