About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

All to ourselves
Went out at 6:30, had the course to ourselves.
We saw no one else on the course,( beside maintenance workers) until we reached 18, and we saw groups, on 10.
Beautiful day, great condition.
There are nicer options out there
Not a fan, conditions were a bit rough and the pass took us 4.5 hours…
Basic Sun City course
Ok course with a great pace. We’re done in just over 3 hrs with a 11:30 tee time.

Played the course for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Will definitely play it again.

Ok Course
Not a Desert style course at all. It isn’t a 4 out of 5 star course. 3.5 max. It’s a budget course. I did enjoy it but it is not memorable at all if your from out of town
Great deal, very good conditions
Enjoyed an afternoon at SCCC. Greeted well at the beginning and allowed me to tee off late due to traffic delay. Conditions were very good, only a couple bare spots in the fairways, greens pretty good, but some edges had fungus issues. Those did not impact my play. Sand bunkers were the best outside of TPC. Good amount of sand, consistent, raked and normal dryness. Bunkers were easy to play out of. Would be nice to get new carts and/or GPS. Layout is standard out and back/out and back. Some water holes are tough to manage, but not impossible. Highly recommend for a full length course.
Trying new courses
Moved to Arizona in May and I am trying some other courses in my vicinity. I enjoyed the course with nice tree lined fairways. Price is important since I am just a recreational golfer. Very good deal!
Flat, little boring course and a little expensive for the course
The course is Ok, but not great!! I would probably not go back. Would probably find another course that has a little more variated shots and in little less residential area! The greens are pretty good, but can be challenging...which I liked!
