Sun City Country Club
About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Hey, it’s the desert man!
It’s not Augusta national, but it’s a nice place to play. The fairways and greens are a little rough in spots. This is understandable right now because this is the transition season going from Rye grass to Bermuda. The pace of play was great. We finished in a little over three hours. I do however have one major complaint. We do live in the desert here and there was no drinking water on the course. They do have water at the clubhouse and drinking fountains at the two restrooms on the course. However, THE DRINKING FOUNTAINS DON’T WORK!
Sun City CC
Played this course for the first time this year but have played this course many times before in past years. Love layout and course is in good shape. Played with 2 other gentlemen who were fun to play with. No one else on course near us so we had a great time and pace of play. Only criticism is the superintendent put some diabolical pins on some of the greens. Highly recommend playing the course before reseeding starts.
All to ourselves
Went out at 6:30, had the course to ourselves.
We saw no one else on the course,( beside maintenance workers) until we reached 18, and we saw groups, on 10.
Beautiful day, great condition.
There are nicer options out there
Not a fan, conditions were a bit rough and the pass took us 4.5 hours…
Basic Sun City course
Ok course with a great pace. We’re done in just over 3 hrs with a 11:30 tee time.
Sun City CC
Played the course for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Will definitely play it again.
Nice course
The greens were in good condition and the fairways were beautiful. The entire course was great. Would recommend going here
Ok Course
Not a Desert style course at all. It isn’t a 4 out of 5 star course. 3.5 max. It’s a budget course. I did enjoy it but it is not memorable at all if your from out of town
Great deal, very good conditions
Enjoyed an afternoon at SCCC. Greeted well at the beginning and allowed me to tee off late due to traffic delay. Conditions were very good, only a couple bare spots in the fairways, greens pretty good, but some edges had fungus issues. Those did not impact my play. Sand bunkers were the best outside of TPC. Good amount of sand, consistent, raked and normal dryness. Bunkers were easy to play out of. Would be nice to get new carts and/or GPS. Layout is standard out and back/out and back. Some water holes are tough to manage, but not impossible. Highly recommend for a full length course.
