Sun City Country Club
About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Staff
Front desk guy is fun. Pace was slow due to jc college teams.
Fair and friendly course
Course was in very good condition, a few mucky areas from standing water. Greens were smooth and firm.
Tina - Iowa
The best pace of golf, nice layout, people were friendly.
great place to play golf
nice wide open fairways and challenging greens. Playing in the morning not as much roll due to moisture on the fairways and greens but sped up in about an hour after the 7:30 tee. time.
Tee boxes could use some tlc but thats about all that was needed.
Course was nice, a little slow. Lots of seniors enjoying the day so no biggie. Played with 2 jerks that must have hit 5 houses and kept hitting into the elderly foursome ahead of us. I apologized for them as they seemed to find it funny...just don't get it.
Course is in good condition. Greens are a bit slow, Fairways are in good shape, but the tall trees that line most of them make them seem narrower than they are. Joined a twosome, a couple of local guys and Tim helped a lot with his course knowledge. Pro shop staff was friendly and helpful. it's a short course but very challenging
Sun city golf
Mice flat course. These have been. By far the fastest greens we have played this February. Water makes some holes interesting. Pace of play was outstanding. 3.25 hrs with a 4 some and a steady amount of golfers.
Fun round. Fast play today
Fairways are nice. Greens are just a bit thin but rolling well
GPS
There’s this new invention called GPS which allows golfers to have a distance read for their shots into the green… get on board … also put some ice buckets on the carts… another not that big of an expense… it would make playing your course much better for all golfers … you know the ones who keep you in business..
Best value for money in Phx
This is my favorite course in the phx area, the layout is perfect, the grass is extremely well kept, and the course is very clean, Brianna the cart girl is the sweetest thang on planet earth, were very happy to see her everytime we go (she needs a raise) the kitchen makes very good food, the club sandwich and the bacon burger are amazing, 10/10 all around see y'all Sunday.
Good Value.
I played 2x this week. I found staff to be friendly and helpful. Both times the pace of play was ok. A little over 4 hours for my rounds. I like the range and practice area. I also like little touches like have a water and ice machine at the golf shop. I appreciate that. The turf is a bit thin so I found it doesn't hold the ball up and I hit some fat that get caught up in the dense soil or thin shots trying to pick it clean. The turf needs to mature and thicken a bit.more. the greens rolled ok. I like the overall layout and length of the holes.
Great Value
Fantastic experience. Course is in excellant shape for this time of year. Found a great value on GolfNow which made it even better.
