About

Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

Nice course but slow pace

It was really backed up before we even started. The group ahead of us slowed it even more as it was obviously their first time playing on a course. We had to drop out after six holes (2.5 hrs in), because of a time constraint we had.

Pace of play is terrible

I understand this is a practice course, but if that’s the mind set then space out tee times. Took 40 minutes to play the 1st 3 holes, just absurd. Before the new ownership they would have a Marshall try to keep up on it and the last few times I’ve played here it’s just been terrible. Unfortunately not coming back, a driving range isn’t enough to make up for the lack of everything else

Played this course for the first time, greens are slow due to the sand on some holes. Leaves/ branches make it hard to find your ball in the fairway or a little on the side. Overall I’d play this course again.

Nets are too low

Course is okay for playing 9 but have to be careful around the driving range. Almost got hit on the 4 th fairway and must have dodged 10+ balls on the 7th tee. It is not very pleasant and very dangerous
