Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Golfer Reviews
Very Disappointed
I typically don’t write reviews but I have to admit that after playing this course, I will not play this course again. I understand around the WM and Super Bowl being in town all the courses were charging a high price but $83 to play this course was robbery. The greens were diseased, the tee boxes were were all beat up, the carts need to be retired and my nephew rented a set of clubs that should be sold at a garage sale.
Layout good
Interesting challenging holes. Amenities in poor condition needing major upgrading.
Nice Course
Very nice course. Glad we found it and could get on to play during a very busy time of year. We were very happy with the course. Challenging and fun. A bit dry but that’s to be expected. Hope to get back out there before we have to head home to NY.
Solid round of golf on Super Bowl Sunday
Got a last minute 10:30 tee time. Played as a twosome and didn't catch the early groups until #7. Then pretty much waited on every shot the rest of the round but still played under 4 hours. Greens are fantastic, the fairways pretty good. Would play it again but would probably prefer about $70 instead of $100.
Overpriced for the quality
Upon looking at courses I found this course and 80 dollars is about average for this time of year, upon arriving the driving range was pretty much dirt and the putting green was sandy and bumpy. Starting to play I noticed the rough was more like bare dirt with a couple patches or grass and the pace of play was horrendous waiting on almost every shot, I do not recommend this course
Overpriced
They took advantage of price war during the week of the Phoenix open like all the other courses..this course is hardly ever busy and 80.00 for around here is never worth it for the conditions. Not a good experience for the money. Sad they would do that for area residents.
Nice repeat performance
Course was in great shape. Supposed to be wet but it wasn’t. No waits and 4 hr round. The 3 of us had a good time.
Several greens and tee boxes in need of repair
One green had a large depression with dead grass affecting putting. Many tee boxes are uneven with lots of dead grass
Union Hill Twi-light Round
I enjoy the layout at Union Hills Golf Course. The fairways are in good condition and most of the greens play well. The course has diversity and the holes are challenging, yet most will not bring you to your knees. With that said a few holes are difficult enough to ruin a good round score. I like to walk a course and I wish Union Hills had more rental walking carts. Also I believe the fee for walking should be less than with a motor cart as this is not the case. The green fee is quite steep in my opinion; both regular and twi-light green fees. Play was very slow, but we were able to finish just before dark.
