About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Value course
The price is right. Course is always in pretty good shape. Wide fairways and nice greens. Not a fancy course but I’ll save the money and play this course any day.
Great value
Fun course to play. Not a fancy course by any means but gets the job done and great price after 3:00.
About what I expected
Typical AZ golf on the weekends: 5 hour round with two five-somes in front of us. Greens were a good speed and a little bumpy from recent aerification. I would say course conditions were decent for this time of year. We saw the cart girl three times during our round which was good!
Decent track, diabolical pace of play
Took 5 hours and 15 minutes to play 18. Ridiculous, everyone rides, no excuse, they need to employ a ranger who does his job. Course was in decent shape.
Tournament woes
I always enjoy this course. Great layout, challenging greens, in good shape, super staff, but yesterday there was a tournament that delayed start times and slowed everything down. After arriving at 9am for a 930 tee time, we finally left the course at 3. I'll be back.
Pleasantly surprised
Course had wide open fairways and was very reasonably priced. Cart personnel was out to full fill our needs and was wanting to play another 18 after my round was over.
Better than other Sun City courses
Really like playing this course, layout is great. Hope to be back soon before temperatures go to the 100 degrees mark.
Course is in Generally OK Condition
First time playing this course. Presently straight forward design and generally flat, with some mature trees lining the fairways. Tee boxes were a little sparse with grass; fairways very dry (needing watering); rough was acceptable from which to play; sand traps were lacking sufficient sand; greens were fast and true (best part of course). Walking time was 3:15 (no waiting), with me as a single player. Value-for-money was good, though commute time was about 50 minutes for me. Range surface was needing to be changed due to excessive use. Good muni course to enjoy a wuick round on a beautiful day.
Greens were tough
Great day to play golf. Pin location were very difficult! Unfair at times.
Need to pair groups up on the course. Too many 2 somes.
Great course in the west valley
Tested your driver’s distance on most holes. Greens were kept up and staff extremely friendly. Only negative was some areas needed extra water and some grass seeds. Fun course and will be back.
Another great day a Union Hills
Course was in good shape. Tee boxes were thin from the whites. Greens were great. Very consistent! The person who helped with the bags was great. Very welcoming and funny!
