About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Cart path only was a surprise
Greens were really slow. I look forward to playing next week when greens are cut and 90 degree rule is in place. Hopefully the rough will be cut.
Great shape for early in year
Really enjoyed the course - best shape I have seen in a while. Was cart path only but I walked so it was faster than riding. Greens are a bit slow and hard to read because they’re fuzzy but give it a little while. Bunkers are pretty hard but wasn’t in them very often so that may end up turning some people off.
Pace of play was excellent 3.5 hrs at 8 am is decent

Golf now did not state Saturday was Cart Path only until I arrived at course to find out cart path only. With bad knees, if I knew ahead of time I would have cancelled.
Decent round
The course was in decent shape. Greens were a bit odd as they did not putt smoothly at all. The ball bounced it's way towards the hole. There always seems to be a back up on the 3rd hole and later around the 5th. The back 9 has more random slowdown points. It usually takes 4.5 to 5 hours (or more) to play this course because of the backups. For some reason they are almost always short of carts. I wonder if this is because they have too many waiting on slow players.

Nice course price about right food and drinks reasonable priced. Overall it’s a solid course
Rough too rough
The rough was way too high all over the course. I lost 3 golf balls not because I hit out of bounds but because I couldn't find my ball in the rough
This course isnt apart of the PGA tournament cycle. So the rough shouldn't be this bad. Trim it down!
The new owners have really turned this course arounf

Overbooked and slow
The morning started with overbooked tee times, which caused tee start times 10-15 minutes late. The shape of the course is about as worse as I have ever seen it. You literally could not differentiate between the rough and most fairways. The grass, where growing was long, clumpy, patchy and in disarray. The pace of play was insanely slow, this round took over 5 hours. We did not notice the rangers doing anything about getting the pace up. We will not be back until they get the course in better shape.
Charged my credit card for a player who was sick.
Booked a tee time for 3 players, my buddy ended up getting very sick the day before the tee time. Told the staff there would only be two of us asap and they still charged me for the player they knew wouldn’t show up.
Great course. Tee boxes need cut.
Course was great for being mid August in phx! Only thing I have is tee boxes need cut a little down some of the grass was pretty tall but other than that greens were great.
