About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Difficult but in great shape
First time here. It’s a challenging course, especially the greens, but obviously well cared for. The weather was windy and chilly so it wasn’t the best day, but enjoyed the course, staff was great, the guy in the pro shop gave a ton of great info about the course for a first timer. I’m looking forward to playing it again on a nicer day.
Go play
Played on a Saturday afternoon and made it around in a little over 4 hours. Fairways and greens in good shape, off the fairway the rough is non existent. Mostly hard pack and weeds so stay in the fairway. Overall good day and the price was fair for the round. Staff is friendly.

Greens: very consistent and in good shape!
Fairways: needed to find grass in some areas, but in good shape for the most part.
Rough: dirt away from the fairways in most areas.
Pace: was fantastic…good pace in getting people out onto course.
Staff: very friendly and grateful we were there to play.
An under appreciated gem!

Union Hills is always a good choice!
I am new to the area 2 years ago and I always enjoy my rounds at Union Hills. The carts are in good shape and it’s a course that all levels can enjoy. Course conditions have been improving since my first time playing.
