Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Horribly Managed and Miserable
Booked a 1:45 tee time on a Saturday. At 1:45 we still didn’t have a cart. At 1:50, they finally got us two carts. At 2:00, we teed off finally. They announced that this has been the busiest day in the last year. We finished hole 9 at 5:00 and proceeded to the clubhouse to ask for at least a small refund. To our dismay, the staff had locked the doors (surely to avoid the mass group of angry customers). We then caught the shop staff as we were leaving and asked simply if we could have anything in return for that astonishingly horrible round and he had the audacity to say “there’s 1 and 1/2 hours of sunlight.” And walked away. We timed multiple tee boxes (the worst of which had 4 separate groups waiting) and found that there was a nearly 20 minute wait between multiple wholes. This was one of the worst golfing experiences of my life and I will not be coming back here. I recommend any and all golfers stay away as well.
Friendly
Course is very forgiving , nice wide fairways and yet challenging holes !!
UH Golf
The course is always pretty good with some opportunities in regard to the sand and some of the edges around the course. The pace of play was very slow, but the group in front of us was most of the issue. The marshal finally got them moving, but we had to push for that to happen.
Shared clubs and people who didn't know how to golf today!
The group in front of us had 4 people sharing 2 sets of clubs.. No Marshall . They consistently hit more than 1 ball apiece, drove on par 3 holes, waited until the entire hole was free thus making for a very very slow day.
Backed up tee times
Got there and had to wait for a cart started late and we were stacked waiting for 2 groups at all times
Hidden Gem
One of the best lay-outs....Very challenging, yet wide fairways, not much trouble to get into. Well maintained, friendly staff
Great track!
This course is really coming along! Tee boxes, fairways, sand trap, and greens are all in the good shape! The greens are challenging and roll great and are on the firm side but a well struck shot will hold the green. The staff are all very courteous. I will definitely be returning.
golfer lady
It took more than 5+ hours to play. We waited on absolutely every hole. The players assistant said it was a busy day. It looked busy, but that doesn't mean a round of golf should take more than 5 hours to play.
I would have given a better review but this pace of play left a bad taste.
Horrible course
Trash course. Took 4 hours to finish 9 holes. There was 4-4 somes backed up on a par 5. Every hole there was a 25 min wait between shots. Staff is rude. Place really sucks. They need to up their rates and space this out better or have the Marshall pushing people a bit. I expect 5 hour rounds here but this was just absurd.
Okay course but not worth 120$
Course is decent but much like all the other courses in AZ currently it’s not event close to being worth the price to pay.
Union Hills
Great course and amenities.
Pace was slowed initially and the Ranger was able to clear up the slow down.
Not much changed
Course layout, and staff attitudes are great.
People are friendly, and helpful.
Course is overloaded, we waited on each tee box. And almost every approach shot.
Lot of dead spot, and muddy fairways....
No ranger out there moving groups along, that may help.
For $100 on a weekday afternoon,
Not a good value
Union hills
My wife and I have been playing union hills in Mar or feb for about the last 10 years. This is absolutely the best condition it has ever been in. I usually shoot in mid 80's from the whites. This is a very flat course with several longvpar 3s. It is a fun and fair course and pretty reasonable price wise. $98 at 11:30.
