Riverview Golf Course

Course is OK but the pace is deadly slow... they allow 5somes; waited on every single shot and as much as 10 minutes on the par 3s. It's not fun.

Course in good shape, staff was great. Challenging greens.

I really like this course. The layout seems simple but the greens are very challenging. They are the nicest greens I have played in the West Valley. Unfortunately the course was very wet today after yesterday’s record rainfall but it was firm enough to allow carts on the course without restrictions.

The only complaint, fivesomes.....why this course allows a fivesome out during prime golf time is beyond me. There were at least six fivesomes that we saw on the course. The other complaint is that they sent a group out on the back nine as the group in front of us was making the turn with us on that groups tail the whole front nine. WHY???? Therefore the back nine took 20 extra minutes to play.

Other than those two mental lapses by course management, this is a good place to play. We’ll be back.

Fairways greens and tee boxes are in excellent shape. Nice layout with bunkers on every hole.

Greens are fast and quite challenging but fair. Only thing to improve would be to increase the sand in the bunkers.

Finished our round in just under 4 hours. Definitely recommend this course.

Pace of play was great. Course was in good shape along with the greens.

Only mr 2nd round in 4 years, course was forgiving and a pleasure to play. i will return.

Play was slow because Riverview allows groups of five. On most courses 4 players in a group is the max. I will think twice about booking at any course that allow fivesomes.

Tees, fairways and greens were all in very nice shape. The sand traps were not however. Green side bunkers had way to much sand in them. Everyone in our foursome had trouble getting out of them. Weekend golfers have enough trouble with sand traps without this added burden...

The fairways and greens are in great condition. The rough is thin, you get a lot of roll though you may end up with a bare lie. The greens are pretty slick and had a lot of slope, really tested your putting skills. I like the course layout - there are some doglegs, raised greens and a “river” that runs through the back nine. The river was dry in some places, that will depend on the recent rainfall. Definitely worth the price.

When I initially tried to make a reservation I got error messages although spaces were shown to be available. I called golf now the next morning and was able to use this method to get a spot.

When I arrived at the course I was told that the Golf Now folks were told no slots were available. They squeezed me in. Yeah Riverview!

As for the golf, once again I was impressed by the condition of the traps at this course (in 6 in 18 holes). They have an abundance of sand, a rarity for this area. Although the greens were very fast they were in excellent shape and putted very true.

I know we got a Hot Deal, but the addition of a 5th player to our 4some is not appreciated! The pace was already slow, and this made it worse. 12:52 tee time done with 18 after 5:30 and it’s dark. Consider this possibility before booking here!

The course was in nice shape. The fairways are wide enough to bomb the driver. The greens are really undulated , the greens rolled true, Pretty challenging if your not on the proper side of the cup. The staff was professional and attentive. They also had a nice 19 th hole . The course was busy, but the pace of play was still great. {moved smooth.}

Dollar for dollar this course is a 10.

There is no marshalling on the course but then again I didn’t see a need for one. Play was steady and back in the car under four hours.

Friendly staff all around, greens keeping is great. Greens hold well on approach and the speed is very quick. I heard they rebuilt the course a couple years ago and offer my complements on a great job.

Only negative is amenities are short on the offering and there is no course food or beverage cart!

But if your going there to golf the bring your a game.

Everything was great from clubhouse to green. Practice facilities are great also. Not more you could ask for.
