Grandview Golf Course at Sun City West
About
Grandview Golf Course may be little known, but it provides a good challenge for players of all abilities. Although the course is relatively demanding, it is suitable for most players and there are also four sets of tee boxes to adapt the game to different skill levels or handicaps. There is a variety of different sand bunkers that golfers need to watch out for as well as water hazards that come into play on four holes. The signature hole is the par-5 13th hole, which is challenging not only due to its lengthiness but also because it requires an approach shot over water.

Great round of golf
Pace was good. Course was in great shape. Greens are challenging and in great shape. Wide open fairways, plenty of room to land your shot and some punishment if you stray off the fairway! 2nd time at this course and love it. Will definitely be back.
COW PASTURE
I have played many courses in many cities in Canada and the USA but this Grandview is the worse course I've played. The sides had no grass. We had to chip and hit our shots of hard soil. The course is in terrible shape and the surrounding is not what you would normally visualize of a golf course.....houses with air conditioning on the roof.
I cannot believe that LPGA members play this course.
This was my first and last round on that course. Would I recommend anybody to that course?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Course worth playing.
Good shape, fairways plush, rough was rough. Sand
was golf course sand. Greens fast and smooth. Probably 10.5-11. Greens reading took many angles,
but rolled true once read. I recommend.
Great greens
Very friendly staff. Fairways and greens were immaculate. Course was challenging enough but forgiving for the occasional errant drive.
Good course
Fairways and greens were excellent. Rough was dry and brown.
Longish par 3s. Bring your A game
Don't be fooled by the surrounding retirement community. This course was an honest test even for the better player. My average drive is 260 yards and I found myself hitting several 6-7-8 iron approach shots into the par 4s. Granted it was a cool cloudy January day but I found the course to be a surprising challenge and really enjoyed the test.
Great course
We played on a Sunday afternoon and the course was packed and we still finished in just over 4 hours. Fun and yet challenging course!
Incredible
Given a 2.5 hour frost delay, our 1:00 pm tee time was only delayed 30 minutes. Course packed but still played in just over 4 hours. Course conditions were excellent. Real grass on greens that ran true, fluffy aprons so no off the grren putts that are so common on many other courses, lush fairways and tee boxes. A real treat for a bargain internet price.
Beautiful Greens
Got a hot deal on golf now... what a bargain. The course was in great shape, greens were the best I have ever putted on in Arizona... perfect!!
good value
course good---greens a bit slow---could be quicker--pretty nice shape--would recommend
Staff sucks
I got my first double eagle on hole 17 par 5. What an amazing course. It was in wonderful shape and I will be back to play again. I can't say much for the staff though. The golf shop clerk was very unprofessional and obviously didn't like his job. He was rude and very unfriendly. I'm glad the course was amazing which makes up for the lack of customer service.
great time
paired with another single. Staff very friendly and course in great shape. Greens were very fast as was play. Had a great time but you would not know it by scorecard. I would do it again in a heart beat because of the experience. I would recommend playing Grandview because of the course's great condition, the pace of play, friendly staff, and great time had by all.
This course has good layout
This course has friendly staff and great features.
I will recommend to my friend.
I hope I could play again...
Best course in Sun City
I've played almost every course in Sun City and Sun City West this year. In my opinion this course is the best of the bunch. Forget the cart staging area between the pro shop and driving range, it's a crowded mess. But once on the course this track ranks with any private club in town. Lots of variety, deep bunkers, elevated greens, good grass and some very difficult holes make Grandview a course I will play many times in the future.
Nice design, great for all levels!
My only complaint would be that the greens were extremely firm, leaving no ballmarks and holding no shots. It must've cost me about 8-10 shots!
Good course.
The day I played, carts were limited to "cart path only" due to recent overseeding, which made for a long day.
The course was beautiful and challenging.
course is fair for every level of player
The course had just opened and was in beautiful condition, the greens howver were bumpy and slow,,,this was the only thing we were unhappy with..
Grandview G C
This golf course is always in great shape . It seems they know how to maintain their course better than most of the others in the area.
excellent place to play
Awesome course, i did not start until 3:30 PM.Got the whole round in at 3 hrs, pro shop is well stock with many options, it is a old course, front nine fairly challenging
back nine is much harder. Great shape. No curb help, for clubs, parking is good and close to the pro shop.
I am going back this week end. I love this course. I did not use the 19th hole.
