Grandview Golf Course at Sun City West

Fairways and Greens look nice but they were rock hard, if you miss the fairway your hitting off of dirt. Nice layout though and friendly staff.

I played this course with a hot time on Saturday at 145pm. I was able to play as a single which was surprising. The course is very challenging and was made more challenging by the windy conditions on this day. The variety of holes and ability to hit different clubs off the tee made it a good experience. The greens were in great shape but don't really hold a shot. The fairways and tee boxes were lush and in great condition. The sand traps were consistent through the round.
My only negative for the course was the outside services. I did not see a beverage cart and the course only has two drinking fountains and two bathrooms for the entire course. I can understand the restroom but would like to see more water provided on an AZ course.
Overall the course is a great value and in great condition.

Fairways and greens were in great shape. Bunkers need some work as we had a heavy rain the weekend before and the all the bunkers had a hard crust on the top witch made them unplayable. They could have use some maintenance.

I almost hesitated to write this review for fear a lot of golfers would find it and crowd this course. As a local, this course has to be one of the best values in the valley. The conditions are excellent (except sand texture). The greens are in very good condition and very challenging. The course design is not like your typical residential course or retirement courses. No hole is alike. The home are there, but they don't really come in to pay, even with the wildest shots. Fair amount of water. This is definately my new winter course. Can't beat the quality for the price.

The course was in very good shape with great greens. Had a very bad experience with the starter!!!We went to the first tee box before he called us on the PA system and he marched out and very rudely and loudly berated us!!! Same thing happened to the group behind us!! Will think twice before going again- never experienced this behavior at any other course!! Other staff very friendly!! maybe they need to put Mr. Grumpy in the back-shop where he doesn't have to deal with the public!!!

staff friendly, tee offs very nice, fairways in good condition, roughs ok, traps raked and sufficient amount of sand, greens in excellent condition, putting speed perfect. We will play again. Will check on membership conditions.

Course is not overly long when playing white tees. Par 4's range from 350 - 410 yds. Par 5's from 490 to 520. All greens and fairways are well bunkered so hit your drives and approaches with accuracy. Fairways were in good shape and greens were faster than I expected. We played in the PM so took 5 hours to get around. We would definitely play again when the weather is a little warmer.

Course was packed, had a 1:37 tee time finished after 6:. 3 groups on some par 3's, need to marshal a little closer. Some holes had to many geese, had to move ball out of the goose droppings. The course normally plays faster, couldn't ask for a better staff, course well maintained, carts were clean and ran good. Will go back when we can play faster.

This course is well worth the consideration. It has challenges and is well maintained. It's no wonder that it is a local favorite. The driving range is a plus for this facility and if you like hot dogs, the grilled dog is a must.

when we played the play was slow due to overseeding and carts on paths only, but very much enjoyed the great variance of holes, some of which were very challenging.

Played course before and will again. Very challenging and will test your level of play.

Starts off with a long Par 5 and every hole after that seems long as well. Not too many unique holes to break the views of a long fairway, but a good challenge. Greens were getting green again after aeration - you can still see the holes on some greens. Still well maintained course.

Friendly staff. Nice practice range. Cheapest practice balls so far in Sun City. $7 seems to be the norm everywhere else, but $1 per half bucket was awesome. Ice available, but not on the course so that's my only negative of the course.

staff was absolutely fantastic I was late for my tee time and they accommodated me...that was very cool...the course was in great shape for august

Played in the afternoon with no one else on course, making for a great pace of play. Fairways were in great shape, greens a little rough after recent aeration. Ladies in pro shop and restaurant were super friendly.

This was a great day of golf. Although the temperatures were soaring, it was well worth the blistering heat to play this course. Some of the coolest layouts for holes I have ever seen. Staff was extremely helpful.
