Grandview Golf Course at Sun City West

Friendly people,nice course...Played in 3 hours...Will do again..

Really enjoyed the round and staff were really friendly but the golf carts are pitiful. Will think twice before going again until they upgrade their golf carts!

I played Grandview late on a Sunday after work around 2:45. Not too many people were out on the course and I didn't run in to anybody until the 17th hole.
The course was in awesome shape. Tee boxes were all level and lush with minimal divot marks. The fairways had very few divots and no dead or brown spots. The weather in the Phoenix area has been awesome and I haven't seen the summer conditions on golf courses yet. The greens were a pleasure to putt on. They accepted shots all day long, were very consistent speed wise, and had not bad spots on them. I haven't played a lot of golf in the last few months but I think this course was the best conditioned I have seen.
The course has some challenging holes. Many of the greens are very well protected with mounding and collection areas. Some of the par 4s from the back tees present a challenge as do the shorter par 4s.
The customer service was awesome. Two ladies at the counter acted ecstatic for me to be playing there. They thanked me multiple times for coming out and invited me to play until sundown if I wanted to. Range balls are still $1 for about 15 balls. F&B prices seem to be from 1985. You aren't going to have someone at the front to take your clubs or clean them at the end of the round but the course is fun for someone looking to go play golf. I paid $28 to play and it was an absolute deal. I'm sure this course is busy in the morning but for a late afternoon round it's a good choice.

Grandview is an nice layout with a couple of funky holes. Course is in good condition with medium fast greens. Played in 3 hours with another local and this was despite waiting on every hole. Would recommend to all golfers and will look to play it again this summer. Got great rate on Golfnow

Could not have had a better round. Course was in excellent condition, well trimmed and maintained.
Anyone who has not played here has missed a great day of golf.

I had a friend in from Alabama he played several courses before playing this one he's leaving tomorrow and said this was the best course he played in the valley

Course in great shape from tee to green, Very nice practice facilities, Wide open but challenging course Will play again.

Practice facilities are excellent from range to chipping green to the putting green. Plenty of room for all. Course is beautiful also from tee to green. Wish I could play the courses in this area every day!!!!

Nice day for golf. Played as a twosome and had a twosome join us. Played is about 4 hours and moved right along.

Course was in great shape and greens were putting fairly fast.

As the title says the course was in great shape. It was my first time playing the course and even though there was a women's tournament going on the pace of play was fantastic. Just over 3 hours for 18 holes. I'm looking forward to playing the course more.

love the course play was fast, no beverage cart while we where out and snack bar closed early.

This course was a fairly easy to moderate difficult course. There was very few places where a person could run into serious trouble so it is a good course for the average golfer or someone who hasn't played in a while. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and the food was reasonably priced. This course was nothing special but price and difficult wise suits the average golfer quite nicely.

Enjoyed the course. Some challenging holes but some holes where you could score par or better. The staff was VERY friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent. I will return to play this course again. The starter was also very friendly and he also made us feel welcome.

Booked a 2:30 tee time and only got 13 holes in 3.5 hours. Normally I get all 18 in less that 4 house at this time. Each hole we waited at least 10 min on. The course is in great condition. Greens are hard and roll fast. Play short of the hole and it will run for days.

What an Awesome Course for an Awesome Price staffed by Awesome People Who made certain we had an Awesome time!

learned most greens are hard in desert. Ball does not sit so play the front distance. Good news is no rough, bad news are the tight lies. Recommend practicing putting with rescue on short chips. A great value course and I would play it again.

I love playing Grandview. The course is always in great condition. The greens are also awesome. This course has some great holes, over water, some doglegs, some short par 4's, and also some longer more challenging holes. I would consider this course one of the best deals to play.
