Very Disappointing
Annual trip to MB. 12 guys, Some for 20 years. Times booked thru local company. Aberdeen made the rotation. I wish I had read some of the reviews prior to our trip. According to course staff they recently reopened after flooding from a hurricane. Probably should have waited until next year. Multiple greens were re-sodded. So new that the piles of old sod were still on the course. Course should have not been opened. So much new sod on multiple greens it was like putting on a shag carpet. Good luck if you book it. Hope you have a better experience. As for us, we will not be back.
Good but overpriced for condition
Course was nice but greens and fairways were terrible. Had to play 3 different courses due to holes being closed and many greens barely had any sod. Great $40 course but not worth $70.
Expected better greens
Played here for the first time in a while. Arrived and staff was friendly. Disappointed when I went to pay and saw a sign that was apologizing for the Green conditions. The sign was being considerate to say the least. From a course appearance, everything looked good, less the greens. I'll give them another try but not sure when. I understand needing to continue to charge while they corrected the issue but should have offered a rain check to come back and check them out when conditions have improved.
Greens were terrible. Price was high for those type of conditions. Staff was nice along with layout, just greens need to come back.
Poor greens, uh great fairways.
They told us after we paid our green fees, that they had issues with the greens a couple of weeks ago. The greens on the back we a bit better than the front. Had we know that the greens were poor, we would not have booked our tee time and played elsewhere.
Worst greens I’ve ever played on and not worth the price
Paid $50 a person for this course under the assumption it was a decent course based on reviews I’ve seen. Most of the greens were all scorched, 20% grass, 80% dirt and holes all over the place. Good luck trying to putt. Find the line of the ball and hope and pray a hole doesn’t kick it in another direction when you hit it. 2 of the 18 holes were closed and of the 16 we played there were only 2 or 3 greens that looked like the quality you would expect at a regular golf course. I just played a course today for the price of $18 and the conditions were like night and day. Don’t know what has happened to this course based on previous reviews, but I would not recommend playing it in its current condition.
Older course
Nice course, greens a little rough but still playable. Enough to challenge me but not overwhelming.

Worst greens I’ve ever seen. Save your money and play elsewhere until they can get the greens fixed. Clubhouse should let people know about the conditions before playing here.
Worst greens
Don’t play here unless you can play for $25 or less.worst greens I’ve ever played. More grass on a concrete parking lot.
Really enjoyed playing here
Had a great time! Really nice layout, well manicured golf course. I’m not a great golfer by any stretch but was able to save some strokes because of how forgiving the course was. Pace was slower than I liked but I will definitely play here again!
They allowed my girlfriend to ride with me for an additional fee which was very nice of them to accommodate. Staff in club house was very nice and helpful. Clean clubhouse and many clothing options.
kc okeefe boys
Aberdeen is a good course if you are in North Myrtle Beach. A little off the beaten path but a decent course for the price. Has some pretty scenery you dont get from some other courses up North.
Aberdeen-great course/value, but slow play
Would have been five stars except for the pace of play. Just shy of 5 hours. No reason for it. Not overly difficult. Maybe too many people on the course. I’ll still go back. Great value. Just be prepared for a long day.
white tees
The course provided a good challenge grom the white tees
