About
Wolf Run Golf Club is one of south Reno's most popular courses. The course is situated amid the Sierra Foothills, tumbling across a picturesque desert landscape sprinkled with native flora. The layout has many risk-reward opportunities and the par-3 holes are especially fun. The hilly terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing some tricky uneven lies and there is a meandering creek that slithers along the fairways. Though it's wide open, the golf course requires a bit of accuracy and some good course management. The elevated tees offer some spectacular views as well as some intimidating approaches to the fast, undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Wolf Run also has a practice facility with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. You can also get your clubs repaired on site.

Wolf Run
The greens were in great shape and. I had my share of bunkers that day and they had sand in them and I had no problem getting the ball on the green. Cart person came around several times. I give this course 5 Stars.
2023-10-19 Wolf Run Afternoon
Our three-some had a great afternoon! Perfect 80-degree temps, no wind, fast but soft greens and green fairways. Great pace of play!

Great golf course super challenging and fast greens would definitely recommend and will definitely be back to play again
Very difficult course but fun
There were 3 of us, we had a very good time. The course is very difficult with lots of hazards but fun. It challenges your game.
Played behind a tournament which meant 6 hour round.
Great Experience
Sept 2023
We had a foursome play the course on a very nice day. The course itself was in great shape except for a few ball marks on the greens that lazy golfers did not fix but not the greenskeepers fault. The fairways were in very good shape as well as the greens. There are a couple very tough holes on the back nine (especially the #1 handicap) that you must make good shots on or pay the consequence. Speed of play was ok since I usually expect to get stuck behind people who don't seem to notice someone is waiting on them but at least there is a marshall driving around to move people along. I recommend this course.
Nice Challenge
Course is challenging the tee boxes many were not level we were behind golf tournament round took 5 hours.
Only complaint - no ball washers. I mean, who doesn’t like to play with clean balls, right?!?
Poor management
Awful management. They created a policy to CHARGE customers playing golf for ICE, by requiring a drink purchase... In a desert... in daily 90+ degree heat (95* when we played on Saturday August 12th). We didn't need any over priced drinks, we brought water. Water which became HOT by the 5th hole. My entire group 1 by 1 all started to feel heat exhausted, and we had to leave the course by the 9th hole. Unbelievably bad policy to make, to refuse ice for a paying customer. I've never seen anything like it before. When i emailed the management about this, i received NO replies. I hope someone wakes up and changes this policy, its absolutely ridiculous. Ill never play here again. Too bad, course is in a beautiful setting, and fun to play..
