About
Wolf Run Golf Club is one of south Reno's most popular courses. The course is situated amid the Sierra Foothills, tumbling across a picturesque desert landscape sprinkled with native flora. The layout has many risk-reward opportunities and the par-3 holes are especially fun. The hilly terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing some tricky uneven lies and there is a meandering creek that slithers along the fairways. Though it's wide open, the golf course requires a bit of accuracy and some good course management. The elevated tees offer some spectacular views as well as some intimidating approaches to the fast, undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Wolf Run also has a practice facility with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. You can also get your clubs repaired on site.

Good greens, moderate to fast greens.
Fairways very good condition.
Greens were very undulating, but fair.
Great Course, very nice vibe!
Great course, incredibly fast greens that makeyou think! Some fairways were soggy but someone probably forgot to turn the sprinklers off.

Great time did not feel rushed. Live coming here when in town.

The course shape is not bad, but the pace of play was not good.
Consistently Good
Good conditions today. . Following all COVID guidelines which was much appreciated. The only recommendation I have is to put up directional signage to the 10th tee more visibly at the clubhouse and the parking lot. Have experienced this before here and if you’re not familiar with the course, you don’t know where it is. I had first timers ask me in the parking lot where to go. The golf shop staff need to tell everyone where it is; although they had a sign saying play started on the 10th. I’ll return Tom; Duncan does a good job.

Wonderful Golf Course
The entire golf course was amazing and wonderful to play during this COVID-19 holiday season. I played with my son-in-law and we were able to play the front nine in 1 1/2 hours. The back nine was pretty fast until we got to hole 15. The the pace was slow. The weather was nice and warm. It was windy but at my home course it is almost always windy. So we played well and really enjoyed ourselves.

Always a pleasure to play but can be extremely challenging when the wind is acting up which lately has been the case
Challenging
The course is a very interesting way. View the mountains is spectacular. I will say, it’s pretty tough to play for the first time because a lot of way you need to go is not right in front of you. Greens were in great shape and so were the fairways.
Weather was very windy and cold and started to rain before we teed off and they wouldn’t give a rain check!!!
Enjoyable afternoon on the course
Course conditions were great. Fairways played just right. Greens very fast but manageable. Most tee boxes were nice with a few slightly rough but not terrible. First time playing Wolf Run so a few surprises but will definitely make a return visit. Due to Covid restrictions everyone had their own cart which was nice. Pace of play a little slow but we were a twosome following a foursome so was to be expected. Will return for another round.
