About
Wolf Run Golf Club is one of south Reno's most popular courses. The course is situated amid the Sierra Foothills, tumbling across a picturesque desert landscape sprinkled with native flora. The layout has many risk-reward opportunities and the par-3 holes are especially fun. The hilly terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing some tricky uneven lies and there is a meandering creek that slithers along the fairways. Though it's wide open, the golf course requires a bit of accuracy and some good course management. The elevated tees offer some spectacular views as well as some intimidating approaches to the fast, undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Wolf Run also has a practice facility with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. You can also get your clubs repaired on site.

Overbooked
Had read reviews about poor management and it turned out to be true. Had to wait every hole on a Tuesday. No water stations, ball washers, one bathroom. Over priced for the agonizing experience. Course is in good shape and challenging but not worth it
Nice Track
Having no driving range is the huge problem with this course. Oh, and they are very proud of their bar. Pricey booze at this joint.
Awful course
This might be the worst course I’ve played. Animals all over the course. Redneck hacks slowing down the pace. Divots everywhere with no repair. Waste of money.
Great course pace of play is horrible
Tried to get a quick 9 holes in after work but the course was packed and the pace of play was horrible. Took more than 2 hours to play 7 holes before we decided to just leave. Marshals need to be out speeding people up or they need to reduce the number of tee times.
The course is great with awesome views of mount rose and Reno. The staff is super friendly and the course is a lot of fun but the pace of play has steadily gotten worse every year.
Cold and windy day of golf
The course was in great shape after being closed for several weeks prior due to winter weather. The greens were fast and challenging. Staff. was very friendly and accommodating. It was a fun day playing with my new friend I met at the first tee.
Great day on the course.
This course is fantastic. Great views, course was in excellent condition and was not overpriced. Only negative thing was pace of play. Our round was almost 5 1/2 hours. Marshall’s need to do a better job moving slow groups along.
Air horn
We tee off and had to look for ball on errant shot. We didn’t look for more minute or 2 and group behind us let off an air horn and complained to Marshall. They looked like members possibly. Two hole later Marshall said we were off pace. Not sure how 10-12 min holes are off pace. We Finished under 4 hours.
Greens 👍
Greens were rolling good probably a week away from being really really good
Great course and fun layout
Had a great time. This course has a little bit of everything. The par 3’s are phenomenal. The greens are fun and always roll towards Reno so that makes it challenging . Overall the course is awesome!
