About
Wolf Run Golf Club is one of south Reno's most popular courses. The course is situated amid the Sierra Foothills, tumbling across a picturesque desert landscape sprinkled with native flora. The layout has many risk-reward opportunities and the par-3 holes are especially fun. The hilly terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing some tricky uneven lies and there is a meandering creek that slithers along the fairways. Though it's wide open, the golf course requires a bit of accuracy and some good course management. The elevated tees offer some spectacular views as well as some intimidating approaches to the fast, undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Wolf Run also has a practice facility with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. You can also get your clubs repaired on site.

Pro Shop Attitude
Played 3 holes, then rain down pour 40 mph winds blowing sideways. Ran back to club house to wait it out, never happened. Simply asked if we could please get a rain check. . Denied ! Per pro shop " go out and play, we don't give rain checks or credits " Really after 3 holes? OK your rules. Now my opinion. The place is a filthy mess, restaurant, restrooms, etc. Carts are worn out. Wish UNR still owned the place. Thanks for making me and my guests decision to never play here again.
Entitled players in front of us=B A D
The course is great however this time of the year, there is no Marshall, we had a 5 some of older players playing in front of us and tee we’re a 3 some, they lacked awareness so they don’t give us the pass to play through. Fortunately we are educated players w manners other wise this guys would have gotten in deep trouble w other type of people. We kept our cool and swallowed our impulses. NEED A MARSHALL or to teach these people E T I Q U T T E
Great winter golf
Course is in very good condition. Despite recent snow, cold mornings. Greens roll very very well.
The greens were great. Fast/True. New to 2cups per green. Good Idea.
Interesting to switch flags at each green. Helps to minimize traffic and preserve greens.
Pricey but excellent course
The title says it all- this isn’t your $30 county course, but isn’t Edgewood either. Price is completely fair for conditions and layout. The starter was hilarious on our way to 1 and it only go better from there- greens were in superb shape (this happens every year after the summer heat calms down) stripes and roughs were clearly recently managed, carts are in great shape, bartenders/cart girls are sweet as can be and their beer is ice cold. What else do you need? We’ll be back soon
