I don't know why it took me two and a half years after moving to the Richmond area to finally make it out to Brickshire but after finally playing a round there this week I fully regret not doing it sooner.

The course is a great, fun design with plenty of variety of holes. I definitely recommend playing up a tee than what the overall yardage indicates as the blue tees played more like 6600 than the posted 6390, especially on the par-3s.

The course conditions were great considering the hot and dry summer we've had. Greens were just about perfect and I found nothing to complain about from tees to the fairways, rough, and sand.

The staff was friendly and we finished in just over 4 hours. My playing partner and I were thankful for the water coolers that were provided as the weather got hot quickly during our round.

This course is also an excellent value with plenty of tee times for under $50 during the week.

I definitely won't be passing up this course again and look forward to my next round here!

I have passed Brickshire CC multiple times as I've driven to/from Norfolk to/from Northern VA. If you have some time to spare, this course is a MUST DO! The inexpensive greens fees and the quality of this course are UNMATCHED. Golfing in the area between Williamsburg and RIchmond is great - it's often quiet, remote, and there are plenty of pine-tree lined fairways. I've played Golden Horseshoe, Kiskiack, and Williamsburg National. This is far and away the best of the bunch. Each of the holes is a unique challenge. The staff and the members were the friendliest I've encountered in years. I can't wait for another opportunity to play this course - YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!

I've been playing herr for years. After it was reopened, the course is in immaculate shape. Definitely worth every penny and more for the round. The staff is friendly, and doing everything they can with the Covid-19 situation. The practice areas are fantastic, roughs are challenging, while the fairways are open and welcoming. The greens are soft as a a baby's bottom, but quick. There aren't enough nice things to say about the course. Just GO and see for yourself. This is one of the best tracks around.

Course is in the best condition I have seen it recently. Greens are near perfect, most fairways are plush and sand traps are very good. That combined with good pace of play and great weather made a very enjoyable round of golf.

Course in excellent shape from tee to greens. Looking forward to going back to play here again as this was my second time playing at this course.

Course in great shape. Tees for all levels. Fairways in particularly great shape. Greens medium speed. Nice clubhouse and restaurant. Nice range, putting green, separate chipping green with bunker. Bunkers in rough shape as to be expected due to COVID19.

Played Brickshire for the 2nd time this year. Course was in great condition and pace of play was excellent. Saw a twosome in front of us when we made the turn and never saw them again. Saw a twosome behind us only 1 time during the entire round.

Pace was good for front 9, then very slow on the back, lots of waiting. Course in pretty good condition. Some of the Green tee boxes (#10) need some work. Saw young kids driving right next to tee box (not staying on path) WHY??? Even on #18, why to save 4 steps.

Love this course! Greens were perfect and fast.

white tee boxes were in terrible condition. greens were slow and bumpy. fairways were a bit thin.

Great value in Richmond. Long, challenging, and fun course.
