Playing this course as an out of towner. Layout of the course was fantastic. Tree lined holes, strategic bunkering, very few blind shots. I really enjoyed playing the course. I’m a 7 handicap, played from the burgundy tees, 6700, and shot my best round ever 72. That being said the course was in pretty poor condition. The fairways were in good shape with the exception of 9 and 18 which were basically unplayable. A lot of the rough was in pretty bad shape. I heard from the locals that a lot of courses were beat up from the winter so maybe this was typical. The greens were about average. Very soft, lots of bumps and unfixed ball marks. The food in the clubhouse was good and the staff was pretty friendly. Overall for $35 online it wasn’t bad. Don’t know if I’d play here again. I heard the local HOA was taking over the course. Hopefully they do good things and keep the conditions up and it would turn out to be a fantastic course. As it stands now, average to slightly below.

Very nice for a slicer like myself... second shot was very challenging but manageable

Course was still in great shape after all the rain VA has gotten lately. The 4 of us played in 4 hours so the pace was excellent. Greens in great shape, no issues at all. Playing on Sunday for $25 on a very nice course is always nice too.

The course is not currently in the great shape as it use to be some years back, but hopefully with the new ownership (housing community the course is in) they will turn it back into the great course it once was. The course is still in better shape than some out there, but there is some places throughout the course that are not up to par. I can say this course is still one of the better ones around the area, but can be one of the top courses again with a little bit of work. I’m hoping that the housing community can make that happen. I will be playing it again.

I enjoyed my experience , I was the first and only one out played with no interferences until I reached the 10th tee .I found out that the starter let 6 groups out on the back so I was stuck behind a very slow array of seniors ( leagues ) . I would of been completely fine with it had I known that in advance . If I started on the back 9 then played the front there would of been no issues what so ever other then the small delay.

Have played here twice this summer. Fist time after heavy rain but still good this time great weather and course even better. Some growth problems on two fairways but in much better condition than othe New Kent area course that charge more. Th HOA recently pitched the course and seems to be improving.

Great layout. Hit it straight. Can get into trouble if you hit to close to the edges.

The course is making extensive repairs after years of neglect. The HOA now owns it, and the locals are participating in the improvements. The course is challenging, but fair. 5 tee levels. Greens excellent, fairways good. You need to see it, try it!

the course was if bad condition. Loved the layout but tee boxes, fairways were really bad. Greens were a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale.

Fairways are in good shape along with most greens; tee boxes mostly missing grass or covered in weeds. Very challenging course - just not in the greatest of shape, especially this early in the season.

This course was in beautiful condition. Great layout!
