Brickshire is a Winner!
It has been a year since I had played the course but it will not be that long before I return. Course was in great shape. Greens were very smooth. This round was an overall great value.
This course is challenging.
All of the employees are courteous and the amenities are very nice. The course is in great shape and will challenge your game. If you play smart and not get greedy you can shoot a decent score.
Great golf course!
It is a great golf course and is in terrific shape. The par-3s are the worst part of the course because they are all difficult. and not very fair or forgiving.
Good course.
Except for two fairway Thatcher is not fair on the first nine the course is good but if you are playing from the blue tee you must play from the White tee..
Ball Placement Matters on this Great Course
This course is full of hilly and sloped fairways that present challenging decisions for ball placement. Fairways are wide but play strategy is essential. Greens had been aerated, well sanded and fast. Our two-some played the 18 in just short of 4 hours. It was a thoroughly enjoyable round. Will definitely play here again.
Williamsburg area golf
We played this course on a Monday and paid the senior rate. The greens had just been air-rated so it was difficult to properly assess the greens. Overall the course was in good shape considering it was still April. I would definitely play here again, excellent value for the money.
Great course!
Difficult course! Be ready! Slopes are not your friend. Definitely a must play for the scenery! Would say it was a great course! Must play!
Too blind at times.
We found this course to be very good for us mid teen hdcpers. It was easy to follow and in pretty good shape for this early in the season. The greens were in relatively good condition. The fairways were wide enough to be receptive to slightly miss hit tee shots from the forward tees for us 70 year olds.
As the title suggests, there were a few holes, maybe too many, where the group in front was not visible to us on the tee. I had to drive up to locate them and be able to know when it was safe to tee off.
Otherwise, we feel it was a good overall course and would play it again.
The fairways still haven't started growing yet and the bunkers are not very sandy.
