Azalea Sands Golf Course

Greatly improved course since the last time I played it a few years ago. The layout is fun. Back nine is a tighter, target golf type deal while the front features a bit more generous landing areas. The greens had been aerated recently and were still pretty sandy but they rolled very well if a bit slow. Rangers were very active and seemed to keep the slower groups moving. We appreciated the effort. Our round was just a hair over 4:10. For the money, its a nice option since the area is saturated with courses charging lots more.

Love this course. Play it almost every time I’m at Myrtle Beach. Very friendly layout and good for high handicap golfers. Great for family play.

Great layout, bermuda greens were a little slow but in great shape.

They were sending people off the back when we were rounding the turn. Carpets were awful. No water on the course. Save your money

Everything was smooth as well as pace of play. Employees were friendly. We had a great time and course was in great shape.

Great course that is very forgiving and won’t take a lot of your balls. Wide open fairways and grass was well maintained. Some Tee boxes are better than others but it’s late in the season. Club house is awesome and the hotdogs were good. Carts girls make cocktails and had great local beers. Only negative is they don’t have a driving range.

This would be great if the weather wasn’t so hot. The course is in a lot better shape than it was last time we played it. We had a very good time regardless of the heat. I will be back to play again
